I would highly recommend Ed’s Automotive Center.
Best shop in North Hollywood. The team here is very knowledgeable. Shop is very clean. They have years of experience. I would highly recommend you bring your car here. This shop does it all repairs maintenance tires alignments brakes etc come check them out.

Rude over the phone customer service. I asked a simple question. Asked for the labor cost of installing tires. Response was I don't have time for that. Call a tire shop maybe they can see you faster. Bad customer service and wouldn't ever call again. I can only imagine trying to actually do business with the man.

Had a pre-sale inspection done here for $165. Called for an appointment only one day before and they still fit me in! Affordable and fast service. They also took the time to thoroughly and patiently explain to me everything in the printed report that I received at the end! Would recommend.

BEWARE!!!! I went to Ed's Automotive Center on the recommendation of a friend. I asked them to do an alignment on my car. When they had completed the alignment, they told me that their mechanic had found some major problems that needed eminent repair. I trusted them to do the recommended repairs although I thought I should probably take my car back to my regular and trusted mechanic that has kept my car in great shape for years, as the estimate was $900. When I was due to pick up my car they told me that it needed even more repairs, that the valve cover was cracked and it was leaking oil. The additional repair estimate was an additional $900. When the repairs were complete, the car was picked up. While it was being driven away the check engine light was on, the car was shaking very hard and barely running. We immediately called Ed's and told them. As it was Friday evening, they instructed me to bring the car back on Monday and they would look at it. I had a bad feeling about what had happened. I feel like I had been taken for a ride. I took the car to my regular mechanic instead on Monday and even though I was embarrassed, showed him the repair bill from Ed's. He was horrified at all the unnecessary repairs and the exorbitant prices they had charged. They had even charged me $65 to tell me my windshield wiper pump was not working, something I told them. They have since sent me a check for $65 since I posted this review.
I had to pay my mechanic an additional $600 to correct what Ed's Automotive Center had done so that the car would run. He showed me that while they did replace the valve cover they did not replace the gasket and it was still leaking oil. Also, one of the valves had exploded and the cover had been replaced without repairing it. One of the pistons was also now damaged. Ed's called several times to ask me to bring the car back. I had absolutely no trust in them and that they would just keep finding new repairs that were unnecessary. I feel like the game at Ed's may be to keep you coming back with repair after repair until they take all the money out of your that they can. My mechanic told me I could never prove that Ed's damaged my car or did unnecessary repairs, even though I believe that to be the case. I have a 2004 car with 100,000 miles that was running great when I took it to Ed's Automotive Center for an alignment. After paying them over $2000 I got back a car that was barely running and in need of additional repairs to correct problems that didn't exist when I took it to Ed's. DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSION but I would recommend that you NEVER take anything with an engine or wheels to this business. While I will never recoup the $2000 or have a well running car again, I may be able to warn many people from falling into the same trap. THAT, will be worth something!
