My experience with ELS Chicago was amazing. Well planned strategy to teach English in all courses, a good variety of programs that will take you to the level you want and last but not least, the easy access to the facility and the learning programs.

My experience with ELS was great . I travel from Puerto Rico to Cleveland and stayed at Cleveland just for the exam. The personal in ELS guide me in the entire process and also recommends me to take a preparation course the day before of the test and it was really helpful for me. The day of the test the personal was really kind, professional on time and accessible

ELS Chicago was not bad, but my host was not good. I could not understand why ELS introduced her as super host. I could not to study in my room because a lot of photo frames on a desk and very dark. So I always studied at dining table on first floor. When I forgot to switch off the ceiling light on the first floor and she asked me why I was there in the night. I believe that she doubted I stole anything in the kictchen. 1 week before my last day in Chicago, I requested to cook diner because pasta was lasted 3 days. She was very angry and she said to me in a loud voice " You should change your host immediately" Off course I knew it is not rare in the US but I never forget that bad memory.

I had really bad experience with ELS. I asked for host family to the school and they arranged a family. Her name is Isabel Reina Rodriquez. Her place has rats in the kitchen. When we put bread to closet next day eats already ate and pooped to the bread or any other foods. She loves money and she is so pushy. Always tried everything for getting more money. House rules changed every day. And she is so conservative Christian. She didn’t let us go and celebrate Halloween. She said I’m gonna lock the door and she removed one of my roommate’s halloween make up. That was the hosting part. For school they’re not honest and clear about when do you have to leave the country after you graduate. They’re trying to give a fear and apply for another course.

I learned a lot different culture and make a lot of friends. And I love Chicago, which is very trandissional and morden city in the US. There has a lot of musium, in the summer time was great at all. thank you for every one at ELS
