I am now a medical student but was part of the February 2020 EMT class and went on to complete the EKG course at EMTS. The education I got from EMTS and Tom was so outstanding that I was able to teach many of my peers content and set me up to earn a 95% on the most failed test of my first year of medical school--cardiac physiology.

This school has innumerable opportunities, will help you find a job, and ensure that you are as ready as possible to go into the emergency medical field. I attribute much of my success in medical school to the foundation that this school laid for me.

If you're looking for a quality education and hands-on skills, this is your place!

Invest your time and money with EMTS. This program will set you up for success and help you pass NREMT like nothing. They will push you to not just be EMTs but great EMTs. A quote from the beginning of the course stuck with me since the first day when Tom told us he doesn't graduate EMTs, he graduates good EMTs that have a head start for future endeavors. I know a lot of students that didn’t understand the way he taught at first but it’s a style that not only prepared us for the real world. It pushed us to achieve success at the highest level possible. I appreciate all that you taught I know it will take me far. Thank you for running an amazing program!

As others have said this school puts their money where their mouth is. Enrolling here was the best decision I made in pursuit of a career in EMS. You will be tested and you will be knowledgeable when you leave. You will not regret your choice to attend EMTS as long as you are committed and put in the work asked of you. Passed my NREMT for EMT-B first try and I can't thank EMTS enough for that.

I am a Graduate from the previous class 2023 . I absolutely loved my EMS course Tom and all the other instructors are really good at what they do. They are understanding when life happens. I had to bring my daughter in for the last class & Tom & the class welcomed her and made her feel really comfortable. Today I am currently living and working as a EMT here in Las Vegas Nevada. This course set me up with the education and tools I need to be great anywhere I go. Even had to take another test here for the state of Nevada and I nailed it . Thank you Tom & EMTS I would definitely recommend this course and any other course here to everyone I love. Thank you !

Just completed the EMT -B course. I will say that choosing to enroll in this course was the best decision I have made towards my 'late" lifelong pursuit of a career in EMS. Being in the hotel industry for over 30 years, I entered the course with very minimal experience in EMS other than standard CPR and First Aid courses I had taken in the past. I entered the course with the greatest of expectations, and successfully finished the program, with those expectations having been exceeded at every level...literally. Tom and his team are extremely passionate about not making you a "good" EMT, but rather a "great" EMT. I will admit, the course is tough, and you need to commit to your initiative and respect the process. Put in the time and effort, and YOU WILL come out feeling prepared...I know I surely do. The material is thorough, and the all the education you need to be a solid EMT and more, is provided. Again, you need to make the effort to practice the skills (there are a lot of them) "efficiently" and study the material. It's definitely not a boring course...definitely not easy...it may challenge you to come out of your comfort zone...but you will have fun learning. Tom is the man, and I have learned a great deal from him in such a short amount of time. Heck, receiving that course completion certification was more exhilarating than receiving my high school diploma or Hotel Management degree...not kidding, and you will know what I'm talking about when you receive yours. Looking forward to my EMS career as the process experienced from this course has definitely inspired me to pursue higher learning to eventually becoming a Paramedic. Big Mahalo again to Tom and the team for a great learning experience.

UPDATE: Here's an update to my above post. I just took the NREMT Exam for the first time...and PASSED! So there you go....if you need testimony as to the legitimacy of this course, this is as legit as I can present it. Take the course, put in the effort, trust in Tom's process, and you will be just fine. 💪🚑🤙

If you're looking for an EMT program this is the one. EMTS has a lower price compared to others but you get very good quality training out of it. I saw other programs that were charging from 2,000 - 4,500 for an EMT-B Course, that's just insane! The instructors here want you to be good EMT's and have a good career, they're not just there to get you to pass a test or hand out certificates and it shows! While the instructors are hard on you, it pays off in the end. They also provide all the resources you need such as quizlets, written outlines, pre-recorded videos, additional tutoring, study groups, and much more, it is ultimately up to the student to meet them halfway by studying and doing homework. I was able to complete the program successfully while going to school, going to work, being actively involved at my fire department, and taking care of one of my family members. Not only was I able to pass NREMT first try at 70 questions, but I have obtained a ton of knowledge that will benefit my patients in the future and have a good foundation for paramedic school. Thank you EMTS for training me to be a GOOD EMT, I look forward to return for the EKG course.

The EMT course at emts911 in Carrollton was one of the most entertaining, knowledgeable, and fun class I have taken in years. It's also one of the most structured and organized course I've ever taken.

The lead instructor Tom teaches significantly better than an average instructor you'll have in college. The lecture really sticks and he incorporates active recall elements through pneumonics and constant questions. You'll never be bored in Tom's lectures as he's very enthusiastic to teach and makes learning fun.

Tom gave us all the resources to succeed. Lecture Recordings are available at all times to prepare in advance for class or to review after class ends and for exams, test reviews, SI sessions, and lots and lots of practice quizzes with very good feedback.

After you complete your course, Tom provides detailed instructions on how to get your DSHS license and register take the NREMT. Tom is with you every step of the way, as long as you make a sincere effort to learn and do well.

If you do the test reviews and keep doing the practice quizzes and take good notes/make active recall flashcards. Do all of this and You will pass the course and the NREMT.
