The school superintendent and principle is absolutely horrible as a person and someone the parents and kids can come to with concerns! She likes to deface kids that aren’t academically inclined and he ones who do good they praise in front of all parents and he whole school... making other kids that have not progressed in that month feel sad and ashamed and like they are not good enough even though they have worked hard. Won’t even acknowledge all other kids for their hard work and dedication to doing better! I would not recommend this school as their are better school districts with people with morals that opporate them! This lady obviously operates with no morals or respect for other kids or parents. Also they employ a substitute teacher that has smacked a child in the face and was reported to police but no charges were pressed and they continue to use this teacher against parents requests and concerns for other children.

My opinion, is that the schools of Emerson, elementary and high school has a PESIMO system, the principal of the hugh school does not have leadership to solve important problems, the superintendent is a person who does not know how to fulfill the work that he performs, in both schools bulling exists and they do not take any kind of measure to eliminate the situation, and if the child is Latino worse, the racism in those schools is disgusting and the main ones seem to support it, as much as the discrimination, that embarrassment that lack of professionalism
