I don't normally review places or talk about others, but also can't sit back and be called a liar or let other children be put at risk. I am the mom of the little girl who was scratched. I was NOT informed at pickup at all. My daughter was asleep. Her dad called me on my way to dance with our oldest and I almost threw up. My child did not pull hair she was the sweetest baby teachers who have left this facility can attest to that. We were told the child who scratched my daughter was a known aggressive child and was a year older than my daughter who had just turned 1. We were told the aggressive child usually only attacked her twin brother and they had seperated them that day because she was being mean to him. So that put the aggressive child in with smaller kids. We also had the story change each time we asked. They also said their first aid treatment was to use a baby wipe to clean her blood. She had a scratched corena from this accident. I've worked in childcare before and this was unacceptable. Yes I left my oldest 2 there because they were old enough to tell me if things happened to them and had more attentive teachers. We were already looking for other facilities because they consistently feed fast food to children for lunches and more often than not the children were sat in front of a TV all day. There were plenty of times I've walked in and the nursery had no adult supervision. This is not the place to send your kids. My children moved to a different center and have thrived!! I know having few options due to the cost of daycare or hours they are open but this is not the place to send your children!

Once again, I am so sorry your child was hurt in our care. As caregivers and as parents many of us have had unexpected incidents happen with children. This is one of those things that we could not have predicted. The teacher was literally 2 steps away at the changing table and this happened so fast. Maybe we should have used different terminology when we said the child was not usually aggressive except with her brother. That did not mean she was aggressive. Most siblings fight and wrestle. They also love each and they are each other security blanket. Just because your child is a hair puller or a biter does not mean they are not sweetest. Babies hold on to hair as a safety rope. Toddlers bite and scratch out of fear excitement because they don't know how to communicate and use their words yet. I hope people who read these reviews di not automatically think we are a horrible center. We are in an older building, but those have alot of amazing stories to tell if they could talk. Yes, they have a few sad stories as well. We do serve fast food like pizza, chicken fingers, tacos, spaghetti, chicken Alfredo, etc. We also add whole wheat bread, fresh vegetables and fruits. We watch TV at the end of the day, usually around 5 or 530 while the teachers are cleaning and getting their rooms ready for the next day. During the day we are busy learning, playing, Painting, dancing,singing,etc. We spend a lot of time on the playground if weather permits. Taking care of children is not just a job for me. It's a calling. I have children and grandchildren. I care about your child's safety and well being just like my own. I can do everything in my power to keep them from harm but accidents happen.

I am the owner of Faith Hope & Love Childcare Center. Normally I don't respond to negative reviews because they are just a part of business. Everyone has their opinion and most people know there are 2 sides to the story. If you have read the review about the little girl that got scratched. Her face looks horrible. We feel awful that it happened at our center. I have been in childcare for over 30 years. I love these babies as my own. This incident happened late in the afternoon. It did not look that bad at first. It was just pink. The child that scratched her was just a little older. They were sitting in the floor looking at books when the teacher turned her back to change a diaper the incident happened. This child had never scratched anyone like this before and has not since. The baby that got scratched pulls hair. She doesn't know any better. We van only assume this is why the other child acted so aggressively. She also doesn't know that the baby was intentionally trying to hurt her. We did tell the mom when she picked up the older sister for dance but she was not alarmed enough to take the baby with her. If we are so horrible then why would you leave your 2 older girls at our center until you found another one.
As far as the flies in the baby room. We had a gnat problem back in April and yes we put up a hanging trap to try and catch as many as possible. I'm sure many of you can relate to gnat problems and how hard it is to get rid of them. I did have a issue with my landlord last year and he threatened to evict me. The issue was resolved promptly and dis not affect the care of the children.
We do close for 7 holidays every year. We close if they are predicting a widespread outbreak of tornadoes in our are because our center is small and the chance with the children is just not worth it.

Check their deficiencies with the state it will tell you how bad this place is!! This small town daycare seemed a little dingy but it was the only daycare with openings. Soon after enrolling my 3 kids I realized I made a mistake. The baby room had been reported for flies and had hang traps from the ceiling, everywhere, not just in one corner. They had an eviction notice taped to the door that we were told not to worry about the property owner was just "overreacting" about an issue they were having. They would randomly close with little warning putting me out of work for the day. AND FINALLY THE UNFORGIVABLE INCIDENT -- LONG story short they left a child known to be aggressive in the same class as mine and she was attacked. They didn't think to call anyone because it didn't look that bad to them. My child had numerous puncture wounds to the face and a corneal abrasion to her eye. They performed first aid to her open wounds with a baby wipe instead of medicated ointment to keep bacteria from spreading. I had no idea this happened until I picked her up at the end of the day HOURS later. DHR was contacted and apparently this was not the only complaint against them for aggression. There's more to this story but please save your child and do not let them go here! The owner even said they have no sense of management if she steps out.. which is when this took place.
