I switched from this bank back in 2016 when I moved out of Lucerne. However after 5 years of dealing with two larger brand banks headaches where I now live, I switched back to First Foundation. Their customer service is top notch. They are always looking for for me and helping me with anything I need.

All of the staff at the bank are awesome but I wouldn’t recommend this bank to anyone! Almost every time I try to use my first foundation bank card to make a purchase it’s being declined ! And not for insufficient funds but because the bank wants to block each purchase from going through and label it as potential fraud! It gets worse , you can’t even get ahold of anyone to speak with on the phone to clear the issue! Happened to me when I went to buy an iPhone on apple’s secure website. Bank declined it. Had to call the bank and approve it. I’d rather my funds be at risk than deal with this EACH TIME! It’s frustrating. Forbid I’m in a situation where I desperately need to use my card cause I’ll be out of luck! Definitely not using this bank moving forward. And everything is so self automated nowadays! Good luck if you even think to consider this bank

We have been going to this bank for almost 20 years. When it was First Mountain Bank and now First Foundation Bank. The ladies that work there have always been so helpful, always giving a smile, sometimes a little chat about each other's families. We've seen several retirements, several of the tellers move away and we miss them. I can't think of too much I'd want changed.

What a joke and a completely convoluted way just to access my account. As soon as I find an alternative I'm out of here

I'm trying to run a business and because these guys can't get their business together I have to keep calling different numbers to figure out what's going on. Haven't seen my account balance without calling in and over six months because they keep changing the login information. Now I'm asked to call for more help which wastes more afternoons when I should be conducting my own business. I've never had such an experience with a bank

Absolutely the best. I've been with FMB for 25 years in both Big Bear Lake and in Lucerne Valley and there is nothing else like it. They know me, it's old school banking from a time gone by. Compare the service here with B of A, Wells Fargo, Chase.... As long as I live in the area they are my bank for life.

The service is amazing...super friendly and professional...and they give out cookies and great coffee...everyday....the staff has the patience of saints....I could go on....but...the bank has changed...no longer great...They suck...basically...1 star for First Foundation
