Wes is by far the best instructor I’ve had. I received my tailwheel endorsement in just under 8 hours and the mighty Taylor Craft really teaches you to fly. The lessons were structured enough to clearly define a path to follow, but every lesson was personalized to address each skill as needed.

Flat Lake Instruction is hands down the best company to get your tailwheel endorsement with. The owner is very passionate about flying. All of my training was done in a Taylorcraft and it was my first time flying a plane with no flaps. Before every flight we went over what we would be doing that day and had a detailed debrief. The company was also willing to work with my difficult schedule over a few month period. I can not say enough positive things about my experience there.
