I’m a foreign pilot, so I needed an instructor to fly from Phoenix Goodyear over the Grand Canyon and back. Fly Goodyear had been recommended and it’s clear why. Super professional and organised, the Cessna 172 performed well and the instructor, John, was very professional and thoughtful. They’d be a great place to do flight training.

Fly Goodyear is awesome! I did my Multi-Engine training here with Drew and had a blast and felt at home with how kind and accommodating everyone is. I have also rented many of the Single Engine planes they rent and have only good things to say. This is a flight school that puts people over profits and keeps flight training affordable!
The FBO LuxAir where Fly Goodyear is based is also state of the art and wonderful.
I chose to do the Accelerated Multi Program over 5 days and it was super informative and well planned. The Seneca flies very well and they have it down to a science on how to get you ready for a checkride and be a safe Multi-Engine pilot. This is the best school in the Valley and I would suggest anyone bring their business here!

I just recently did my first solo flight with Fly Goodyear while working on my PPL. My instructor, John, has been an amazing teacher in understanding the fundamental principles of flight and gets me excited to push myself in my training. Everyone here is happy to answer questions and help out where they can. The airport is well managed and are always on top of maintenance and providing good service to the students. I would recommend Fly Goodyear to anyone looking for a great flight school! I'm excited to continue my training here.

This school is great. The instructors are very friendly and won’t hesitate to strike up a conversation with you even if you aren’t their student. The students are interactive with one another and are always down to study together. Finally CFI John is awesome. He is very thorough, funny, and makes the time in the cockpit low stress. He facilitated a flight for my 4 year old son and wife to come up and check out how well i was progressing. They had a great experience and he made it forever memorable for us. The airfield is awesome with a good amount of traffic and a tower to get you really comfortable on the Mic. Would recommend.

I recently moved to the area having been apart of a flying club back in Idaho. The same Mom and Pop feel I experienced there I feel here at Fly Goodyear. Great rates, great instructors, and overall honest people. Greg has done an incredible job to keep rates low and fair, one of the cheaper hourly rates I found across the Valley. Many thanks to Greg, Linda, Kendra, John, and Blaise who made my training affordable, fast, and enjoyable. I recommend this school to anyone looking to either time build or earn their license/ratings.

Fly Goodyear exceeded all of our expectations. The team, especially Greg and Gabe, were exceptional! We had the unique experience of training with several other flight schools, but none compared to Fly Goodyear. Other schools were disorganized, but Fly Goodyear was a well-oiled machine.
