Bought my husband shoes and they went to crap in a matter of days, when called the manufacturer they said they guaranteed warranty. Went in and was met with Debra Stanley, not only was she rude and cold, but offered me no resolution. What a shame as her husband and his store have always been great. She should work on her customer service, because although I respect their policies, it was her demeanor that actually turned me off to the business. I can only wonder how employees are treated. Perhaps a change in tone and you wouldn’t have to wonder why there are so many bad reviews.

Should have trusted the bad reviews! Here is the experience I had shopping at Foothills Shoes. Went in and said that several guys had gotten Ariat boots from here and recommended them to me. I described the type of work I do in a dusty factory walking countless miles on concrete and kicking wooden brake chocks constantly. They said the Ariats would be good but the redwings would be better. I bought the Redwings for $220 as you can see. I wore them for 2 days. They were super uncomfortable and heavy on my feet. Agonizing to work in. On the second day they got this tear in the leather. The second DAY. So I went back in and explained my situation. I was told that they could help me if there was a factory defect and there probably was if the leather ripped like that but I would have to talk to Deb the owner. Ok. I went back 2 more times until I could catch up with Deb. In the meantime I called Redwing and was told by them that they have a 30 day comfort guarantee and I could bring them to where I purchased them and get a one time refund no questions asked regardless of the condition of the boots. What a relief right? Wrong. I finally went in while Deb was working and she was actually the same person who sold them to me. Oh good! Well when I let her know what Redwing told me she said "we don't honor that," verbatim and sent me packing. So now I still need work boots and I'm eating a $220 loss. I want to cry that's like half a week of hard work. I always like to support local but now I'm thinking I would have been better buying online where at least they have a return policy. The owner's response to me was "Sounds like a horrible store keep posting!"

A few weeks ago my wife came home with some Hokas from Foothills Shoes. She’d been in and out of there several times in the past month; she has a narrow foot and has always been hard to fit. I gotta say the staff is most patient. So, for weeks I’d been hearing how great her Hokas are. The other day she went to the doctor. No, she didn’t talk about what ails her, they talked about their Hokas. The doc called them a “game changer”. Really? Well, I have been seeing a lot of them lately and I was thinking about some shoes. Game changer? Ya can’t win if you don’t play, or so it goes. First, I was impressed that Foothills pretty much carries the shoes and boots I’ve worn my whole life. For 30+ years I’d buy two pair of Red Wings every year and rotate them each day. Gotten off track here. Long and short of it they had a large selection of Hokas in stock in my size. Four of them I liked but had trouble deciding. Again, the ladies were patient. And, finally, I walked out of there with my new shoes. Unless you’re trying to call a slice a crack I’ll bet you have no problem getting satisfaction on a “warranty” issue, either.

Small place and pricey but good solid nice looking shoes like you'd get in the good old days. Especially beneficial if you have foot problems, flat feet, wide feet etc. I not only buy my shoes there they also carry the shoe inserts that my doctor recommends. The person assisting with the shoes is very helpful. They will measure your feet if in doubt of your size, get your shoes to try on help you with putting them on and taking them off. They walk you through the process right up to the cash register. You're not just left hanging trying to figure out what to do. I just wish they had a larger selection, that's why 4 stars instead of 5. I highly recommend this shoe store. They also carry high quality work shoes and boots. Come check them out. Very worth it.

Don't warranty their products per manufacturer policy very rude and disrespectful. Had the manufacturer on the phone trying to explain to her the return policy per there product and the lady didn't want to hear it. So my advice is avoid this store and also avoid her husband store Planet X same experience at this place also.

The new larger store is really nice. They have a better inventory and selection of quality shoes. Many models of Hoka Ones for both men and women.

Not a true running store yet, but an excellent local place to purchase running and hiking shoes...and work boots. Multiple brands.

Great to have a locally owned shoe/athletic store so handy. And for me, a real bonus because they carry a good selection of shoes for my narrow feet! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and always helpful. Recommend

DO NOT COME HERE

Boots were just purchased fit just a little big, I wanted to trade in for a size down
Have tags and receipts.
Didnt resolve the issue and hung up the phone on me to attend “swarm of people” inside the store.

Stick to purchasing online since they have a more comprehensive refund policy especially on $200+ boots
