The literal best camp in the entire world. For context, I decided to write comments on places and venues that brought me joy in my semi-short lifespan so far, this place is DEFINITELY in the top 3. Met so many different types of people here and was able to learn more about empathy and hard work. Disliked taking colder showers than normal (which in retrospect, has allowed me to be more efficient in showering at college and to this day), loved being able to swim and jump into cold waters in the morning (POLAR BEARRRRR), but respected the efficiency and love of this camp. I remember how shocked I was to win an award here for something I wasn’t even trying to win, it really just made me feel special for once and for the first time in my life. I owe a lot of my excellence to the Four Winds Westward Ho, because it wasn’t just about fun, it was about building the entire child. This camp is by far the best place for a child to be if possible. I hope to be able to help kids access Four Winds, this wonderful place, to learn more about other people, cultures, and perspectives. Important things to note: this camp is attended for about a month (be prepared to send well crafted letters!), kids don’t have usage of technology (a necessity during this current age of excessive tech), and everyone is respected and loved. If not for four winds, I don’t know if I’d have gotten out of my narrow minded state and attended school in another open minded area! I can’t thank Four Winds enough for being the best place in the entire world ♥️ If you already have the money, send your children here! If you are in search of financial assistance, Four Winds may be able to help, but look for other sources as well because all kids need to go to a camp like this one! Blessings to this camp, I really love this dang place.

This is my kids’ favorite month of the year and best part of their summer. The teenagers gladly hand over all technology and don’t miss it. It’s a gorgeous setting with dozens of activities for everyone. Truly unique experience, it’s like stepping back in time.
