We love Green Hive. My child has grown so much over the last 7 months from attending Green Hive. Everyone is so caring and warm. They care so much about the child's emotional, social and educational growth. They work with them individually and beautifully as a group. My son at 4 understands upper and lower case letters and has learned some Spanish. He is much more excited about singing and even presenting ideas. They build confidence, creativity, and imagination. The space is incredibly special it just feels like this little wonderland filled with art and there are always changes and newness that Miss Lorelle brings in - she is an artist and she is so creative with the activities and projects. They update you throughout the day which is so lovely to see the projects that your child is working on and really care to know your child's needs. I cannot recommend Green Hive enough. We are so very lucky we found this school. My son originally started there by going to camp and loved it so much that we sent him to school there. Miss Lorelle and all the teachers also have built the best community for families. We are very lucky to have found Green Hive.

Our family loves Green Hive! We come all the way from Clinton Hill to bring our daughter because the care they give to the children is unparalleled to anything else I've experience in Brooklyn. So many places say they are child centered, and later you discover that's not the case. In Green Hive they care so much about where each child is and they meet them there. It's a super warm atmosphere and all the educators are incredibly sweet, caring and patient. The space is beautiful, full of light, and with plenty of stations and toys for the kids to engage in all sorts of play. Also I'd like to highlight how creative they are with activities. Every day we walk in there is an incredible new art project, or textures to explore, or a game with light projections on the walls. And last but not least, being that is a smaller group, my daughter has not gotten sick since she started at Green Hive, which is unheard of for daycares these days- It's a beautiful and very clean space. The food they offer the kids, snacks and lunch, is very healthy, varied and very nicely prepared for the little ones. The communication is great. My daughter sometimes leaves in the afternoon saying she will miss the teachers, specially Ms Lorelle. I'm so lucky I found Green Hive and wish we had started earlier!!! Thank you 😀

My kid attended a week-long summer camp program at Green Hive and she loved it! The staff were welcoming, warm, and professional. The space is beautiful, bright, and everything you'd hope for in a magical place for your kid to spend the day. Photos throughout the day through the app provided assurance that my kid had an amazing time, full concentration, big smiles, and a sense of wonderment. Highly recommend Green Hive and can't wait to send my kid back again!

My son attends Green Hive, and he loves it. He really enjoyed exploring and learning through play. The environment at the Green Hive help gives children confidence and support. The staff is amazing to Ms Lorelle and Bianca, whom my son adores them both and Valencia as well. He really learned and gained some amazing friends. The other parents are very supportive and amazing.

Greenhive is a beautiful space, full of light and warmth. My kids immensely enjoyed exploring the space, playing with water, cooking in the play kitchen, climbing and sliding, and even doing grown-up jobs like cleaning off the table before lunch. The staff is exceptional and super engaging, warm, and caring. We had a great time!

We are so happy we found Green Hive and we consider ourselves very lucky that we were made part of this special child caring community. Lorelle, Bianca and the rest of the staff care deeply about the emotional and critical grow of our 2yrs old, and also provide helpful guidance and lots of warmth and love to everyone in the family, making us feel that we are in the child rearing process together. The space is so incredible and the activities so engaging that sometimes I wish I could just stay and hangout instead of going to work. The vibe from every parent is fantastic as well. Highly highly recommend this special place, we couldn't have asked for more.

Our son attended Green Hive's summer camp for a week in August 2021. We loved the space as soon as we visited it for the first time. It's bright and spacious--stimulating and calming at the same time. The stations and materials are set up very thoughtfully and imaginatively. Lorelle strikes us as deeply invested in both the theory and practice of early childhood education. That week, our son would come home every afternoon with a bright smile, all excited about his experiences that day (and the yummy snacks). He would ask to see pictures from "camp" at and he would talk incessantly about his camp friends and teachers. We would send him back again in the future without any hesitation. What a wonderful addition Green Hive is to Williamsburg.
