We were so lucky to find Healthy Toddlers Care, I knew I wanted my son to go here even before he had the qualifying age. My son has learned so much and adores Miss Moss and her staff. I love the diversity and outdoor play/learning opportunities that they create for the kids. Truly an amazing place! No better people that I would trust my treasure with.

Our daughter started at HTC a little over a year ago, and I couldn’t be more thrilled/thankful for the experience. Bridgette and her team of asst/student teachers provide a safe learning environment, with a great student/teacher ratio in a beautiful setting. One of the initial things that drew us towards HTC was that they spend approx. 75% of their time outside when possible (lots of shade). We had visited several “chain” care options, and were fairly dismayed at how little time they spent outside, strip mall building vs a home, student/teacher ratio, etc. We loved that they post pics/videos throughout the day, which greatly eased our minds initially, seeing that she was having a great day and meeting new friends. HTC celebrates different cultures/countries each month i.e. India, Brazil, Asia, etc, trying new foods, books, related art projects, etc. I love when I pick up my daughter and she cant wait to tell me that “I did science experiments today” or “we did art projects today”. Yoga is one of the many fun morning exercises that my daughter loves, and she has surprised me several times with her Spanish, thanks to the weekly lessons. She’ll soon surpass me in both. My mom was a preschool/early education teacher for over 30 years, and she always comments how impressed with the activities Bridgette creates, and just how orderly/calm/well behaved the kids seem. Bridgette goes out of her way to make every kid’s birthday feel special, helped us through potty training in no time, and I just love seeing the impact that HTC has had on our daughter. I really can’t say enough great things about HTC/Bridgette and her team, and just so thankful we found her and that we cant wait to send our son there when his time comes. Recruiting other cool kids and parents. 😊

We were so fortunate to have found Healthy Toddlers, especially in the midst of covid! Miss Bridgette has a great curriculum mixed with enough outdoor playtime to keep the kids engaged and prepared for school. They have holiday and birthday celebrations, “swim” days, have art, music, yoga, feed the chickens & turtles and help with the garden to name a few of his favorite things. My son was there for 3 years, until he started TK. The program, director, teachers and interns fully prepared him for “big kid school” and the transition has been so easy. Can’t say enough how much we loved our time there!

I love this place for my daughter. I would rate this daycare 10 stars if I could. My husband and I visited several daycare centers before deciding on this one. When my daughter first started, our major worry was that, because of the pandemic, she wasn't around many kids, and we wanted her to socialize more. Additionally, she seemed nervous around kids her age. She completely turned around because of Ms. Bridgette and her team. She also adores her teachers, and she frequently talks about them at home. I also love that they never stop learning. In addition to many other fun activities, they practice yoga, work on science projects, do crafts, teach Spanish, bake together, garden, and feed turtles and chickens, among many other fun activities. Additionally, they are educated on each holiday and celebrate each child’s birthday. If you're looking for a safe, fun, learning, and peaceful environment for your kids, I recommend this place.

Our 2 1/2 year old has been at Healthy Toddlers Care for a few months and absolutely loves it. They do such a great job with their programming, including lots of crafts, play, along with yoga, and feeding pets (bunnies, turtles, chickens, etc). All of their teachers are so nice and engaged, and they even bring in SDSU early child development students for learning and fun activities with the kids. Ms Bridgette is organized, easy to communicate with and supportive. We are very happy to have this gem just down the street from us! It’s also very affordable to other daycares we’ve attended / explored.

We’ve had the pleasure of sending our child to Healthy Toddlers Care for 3 years. The director + staff are amazing: very attentive, caring + generous with the kids. Ms. Bridgette + her team treat all the kids with the utmost care + love. I feel very confident and comfortable having them care for my child. We started when he was 18 months and really saw him blossom soon after he started.

My little one recently started TK and his teacher is impressed by how prepared he is for ‘school.’ The curriculum at HTC is a wonderful stepping stone to more formal elementary school. My child has a great foundation with numbers, letters, colors, shapes, world cultures + even other languages. My child also learned necessary ‘school skills’ like sharing, raising hands + sitting for circle time.

We recently added HTC back to our weekly routine in school half days.

I highly recommend Healthy Toddlers Care. I feel like I found the best preschool in San Diego and I still am grateful to have Ms. Bridgette, Ms. Leanne, Ms. Carolina, Ms. Vivian and all the staffers and interns over the years that have so lovingly cared for my child.

Healthy Toddlers Care has been fantastic! The space is clean and welcoming and the staff are outstanding. Our daughter has been there for two months now and we have absolutely no complaints. She looks forward to "school" and doesn't want to leave. Not only is she well cared for but she is learning by leaps and bounds. The daily lessons and activities have truly helped her learn and grow into a healthy toddler. The kids have real connections with one another, Bridgette, and other members of the staff which is a testament to the warm and safe environment that Healthy Toddlers Care provides.

There is also a great sense of community here. There are parties for birthdays and holidays and occasional slumber parties (date nights for parents).

My daughter has food allergies and we use cloth diapers. Bridgette and the rest of the staff have been understanding and helpful, working with us to navigate the challenges and preferences we have for our daughters care.

There are so many wonderful things to say about Healthy Toddlers Care that it's hard to know where to start. Our daughter has been attending for the last 4 months and we couldn't be happier with her progress. Her vocabulary and comprehension skills are nurtured daily through structured activities, lessons, and play. I appreciate how well the day is organized at Healthy Toddlers Care, making the environment feel much more like a school than a daycare. Healthy Toddlers Care also offers affordable overnight slumber party events for the kids from time to time, allowing us to take a date night with the peace of mind that our daughter is in a familiar place, supervised by those she knows and trusts.
