Great area, they really know how to keep this place clean. Safely is a big thing and they have a cleaning area for the fish. Unfortunately it's very much dry up. We noticed that cows come here and leave a mess. Kinda stinks for the cow dropping.

Easy trail. plenty routs to choose from. Good for mountain bikers, horse back riding and walking.

It's very crowded because campsites ate very close to each other. Tent spaces are not totally flat. I guess this is more of a party hangout camping site so don't expect much privacy. Views are good though if you select your campsite well. Bathrooms were not cleaned.

Picnic sites, public bathrooms, playground (currently closed), swim area (currently closed), camping (currently closed), boating, and hiking. Looks like it is $5 for a day use pass for any of the picnic areas or boating area etc. My husband and I just went to the observation area though. Beautiful lake.

I'm from WV and stumbled upon this lake after a KOA had cancelled my reservation. As you can imagine I was distressed being I was 36 hours from home, well a quick google search led me to this little gem. The stay was very pleasant, there were bathrooms and showers available and they were tidy. Lots of people had their water toys so if you have them bring 'em, overall it was a very nice experience for someone who was desperate and didn't know what to expect.

Great lake to fish with the kido's.

We went on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't very crowded. The lake water was warm and the kids enjoyed swimming and playing on the Kayak. On the down side, there was no shade near the water and lots of trash everywhere (paper plates, broken shoes, bottles, cans, etc.) If we are looking for a quick getaway out of town we may go back. There is a $5 per vehicle day use fee.
