We feel incredibly lucky to have found Miss Jessica. She's compassionate, curious, supportive, and encouraging: absolutely everything you can wish for in an early childhood educator.

One of the things we appreciate most is her dedication to helping with speech development. She takes the time to work with children on their language skills and even creates helpful visuals for us to use in our routines at home.

Miss Jessica loves and owns a variety of animals; she takes great care in teaching appropriate behavior around them, ensuring that both the kids and the animals are safe. This has helped our child develop respect and empathy for animals and also taught her valuable lessons about responsibility and kindness. The kids spend time outdoors in all kinds of weather, which builds resilience and provides ample opportunities to observe changes in and develop questions about the natural world.

Miss Jessica takes a mindful approach to social development. Rather than encouraging children to share, she focuses on turn-taking, helping them practice patience and respect for others. She places great emphasis on identifying and allowing emotions, giving children tools to express themselves in a healthy way.

Both my girls went to preschool with Jessica and they both adore her. She understands and values the importance of practicing and learning emotional regulation and mindfulness with the kids which I so appreciate. Don’t get me wrong, they learn counting, ABC’s, etc but that emotion/mental foundation is there (which I believe is more important especially at these ages). She’s so patient and she helps the kids work through their problems. If I could give Jessica more stars, I would.

The Hidden School is a great school. We have had a fantastic experience this school year. It is affordable and exceptional quality. Teacher Jessica makes my son feel safe, teaches him mindfulness strategies and gives him age appropriate responsibilities. Teacher Jessica works well with the students of all abilities and personalities and facilitates healthy social interactions. She meets the students where they are at academically and allows them to develop at their own pace. I cannot say enough good things!

Jessica is an amazing teacher. She taught my daughter when living on the East Coast. My daughter learned so much, was so loved, and is now a thriving Senior in high school with numerous college acceptances. Jessica is smart, kind, funny and extremely patient. Jessica cares about her work and any child who is lucky enough to be taught by her will be impacted in so many wonderful ways.
