High Power Learning (Jacqueline) is amazing! The professionalism, communication and personalized tutoring is undoubtedly extraordinary and appreciated. My son started tutoring with Jacqueline about 2 years ago struggling with school work and everyday reading/spelling with extremely low self confidence and today he thriving each day with the skills and knowledge he has learned and continues to learn from Jacqueline!! Jacqueline Shen and HPL were a godsend to our family as we navigated the SATs and college applications. Having a teen that wasn't sure she wanted to go to college when she was a high school junior and for a good part of her senior year, there would have been all out war if I tried to help her improve her SAT scores or work on college applications. Thankfully, Jacqueline was extremely patient with my daughter and methodically took her through the steps to improve and accomplish the needed tasks - keeping the rebellious emotions of a teen at bay. Through HPL's test taking strategies and methods, my daughter was able to raise her SAT scores by 200 point to achieve her target score. Jacqueline also worked with my daughter on numerous essays, focused her to meet deadlines, determine schools of interests, and ultimately helped her to submit applications to 8 colleges and she was offered admittance to 5! Now that my daughter is at the tail end of her senior year, she is so happy that she went through the process to have college options despite her original misgivings as a junior. Had it not been for Jacqueline, I don't think we would have made it to this point in an emotionally healthy state, allowing my daughter to take the next steps with a positive outlook.
