High Sierra Pilots is a great club, with excellent instructors and a variety of airplanes to train in and rent! I got my private pilots certificate as part of this club, and the amount of support and quality/availability of instructors made the experience much easier! I have been a member now for several years after getting my certificate, and really appreciate the availability of aircraft, events that the club organizes and ongoing monthly safety training that the club offers.
The club is made up of a great group of pilots as well with a wide variety of experience levels. I look forward to continuing my learning in aviation with High Sierra Pilots!

Well-run flying club with in-house maintenance shop, hangar space, a sizable fleet, and monthly safety meetings. Good group of folks and a list of available independent flight instructors. My son got his first ratings through HSP. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn how to fly!

I almost never post a review this quickly about any product or service. In this instance, I was so impressed that I could NOT delay.

Alicia Hunt was my instructor. From the first hello, I picked up on her enthusiasm for flying and TEACHING. Though our flight had to be cancelled, she spent an hour with me in the cockpit of the Cessna 172 going over all the controls, what they are and what they are used for...in detail! Her enthusiasm made that hour of instruction fly by!
