My husband was excited for Snorkeling on this trip. The guide was very helpful during the activity and before. We actually made a second trip and were able to see the turtles in their natural habitat. A chill tour, just remember to pack good beach shoes. The black sand can be toasty and a little rough on the feet.

We had an awesome time fishing with Capt Devon and Josh. We went out at 6am and caught a large mahi-mahi early on, and then spent the rest of the time cruising for marlin. We had some rain and choppy water earlier on, but that’s expected in Hilo. Then we met back at the shop for a catch-and-cook! It was awesome hanging out with them and learning more about life on Hawaii! Can’t wait to come back!

My son and I had a great time on our stand-up paddle board trip with Hilo Ocean Adventures! Our guides were very friendly. They educated us with interesting facts about the area and helped us spot sea turtles in the bay. It's a lovely scenic place to paddle board!

My son and I went on a dive at the turtle cove. The boat ride was enjoyable but the dive was amazing. Great reef spot with an abundance of fish and we saw and filmed two sea turtles. The dive team was amazing. Great crew. Very knowledgeable, friendly and safety conscious. I recommend Hilo Ocean Adventures to any diver who wants an enjoyable dive trip!

My family did the beach snorkel and it was a wonderful experience. We were only in the water a couple minutes before we saw a sea turtle. Tour guide was great. He was very knowledgeable but also chill about letting us explore. Definitely a Big Island must do!

Aukai and Precious were our guides today and they were wonderful. Took us to two different spots for snorkeling and they were so full of information and answering all our questions and pointing out the sea creatures. Loved the small group size and and the friendliness to f our guides. What a great experience!

Isaiah was amazing, one of the best snorkel guides we've ever had. He was so knowledgeable (he's local!) and helpful throughout the process. We weren't brand new to snorkeling but I know if we had been, he would have helped us through it! Both spots were great, we didn't see turtles but hey- they are wild animals! It's not always a guarantee. We saw PLENTY of other amazing wildlife. Seriously, if you are considering this tour DO IT.
