Nice size room clean and well equipped. Decent pool, spa and gym. Breakfast had plenty of options and quantity. Decent bar/restaurant next door. No problem parking but take care as some spots flood on very high tides. Wifi in the room was weak and prone to dropping out. Free bikes were a nice idea but do need some serious maintenance. The hotel was a touch on the chilly side while we were there.

My husband booked this room for a quick weekend trip to Muir Woods. The location's great if you're going there. Free parking but I guess it floods, thankfully we were warned. Friendly staff. Rooms were okay, a bit small. There were ants in the bathroom so that was kinda gross. The toilet tank wasn't refilling for some reason so I kept having to take the tank lid off which was annoying. Breakfast was free so I can't complain too much. Beds were comfy. The rooms have pretty thin walls and the air conditioner isn't very loud, so if you're a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs or something with white noise. Didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice.

Great facilities. Used hot tub every night during stay in February. Laundry on site. There is also a restaurant onsite, which is very convenient. Breakfast had lots of options and was more than sufficient. 24 hr coffee, tea, water station and fresh fruit is an amazing plus. Room was cleaning daily. Location is superb. 20 min drive to both SF attractions and Muir Woods. 45 min drive to Point Reyes. The only cons are horrible wifi - no wifi in our room for 2/3 days. Very poor connection on the 3. And also leaky faucet, which they came to fix fast but I think it’s a design of the faucet too that it spills the water all over the bathroom floor and sink area. These faucets need to be replaced in all rooms before mold issues arise from this.

The location was ideal for my trip but the space was not ideal. Was very clean but smelled musty, probably because at high tide the back parking lot floods so is surrounded by moisture. The Internet was slow, could not take video calls so not an ideal place to work from. It is very close to some good restaurants and a grocery store, and fantastic pathways for exercise right outside the door. I guess you get what you pay for because it was the cheapest hotel around after all.

This Holiday Inn Express is in Mill Valley just north of San Francisco. We stayed here for couple nights as we thought it would be a nice spot in between San Francisco and Sonoma. The Hotel is ok. Its older but seems like it was renovated recently and its clean. It was also quiet and there was plenty of parking. The views from here were nice and there are some hiking trails around if you like to walk around and enjoy the scenery. However... the price for the rooms was very high and staying here was not worth it. In retrospect we would have stayed much higher quality hotel for the same price in San Francisco with views of the Bay and take in the city. Also found that this town does not like tourists very much. The hotel staff is nice, the place is clean.. if you can afford it.. its good.

Anytime our company has a job in the area we always check to see if this Holiday Inn Express has availability. Great place to stay that includes all the amenities our employees need to be able to wind down at the end of a work day. The breakfast options are a good variety so anyone with any dietary restrictions has something to choose from. The staff at this location are courteous and available. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

When we arrived the gentleman at the front desk was friendly and willing to hold our luggage until it was time to check in officially. That allowed us to go and have some fun without worrying about our car being broken into the whole time. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t use the pool because it was cold outside, but it looked fun from a distance. Breakfast was tasty and had some great options like soy milk that I rarely find at hotels. The overall stay was wonderful. I wish we would have had more time to take advantage of the bikes.

The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very clean. The housekeeping staff very helpful, and considerate. The Breakfast was better than any other place that I have stayed at such a variety, I could choose to eat light or have a big breakfast. The hours good, and I found less people in the early hours when I prefer to eat.
