APU's Honors College pushed me as a writer, reader, and thinker, as well as giving me the opportunity to meet close friends and live in community. While not everything about the Honors College is perfect, they have heavy student involvement in leadership and are always looking to grow, which is a huge strength. If you put a lot into the Honors College, you will get so much more out!

Don't just take my word for it when I say that the Honors College inspires greater thinking beyond what you ever thought was possible, come by and see! The staff and faculty work tirelessly to make sure students are growing spiritually and intellectually, and the students are the ones fostering a culture of acceptance and love. The Honors College is the hidden gem of APU hands down. Faculty doors are always open for conversation, discussion groups formed my closest friendships, and the books we read are life-altering. (in a good way). Also, skipping all the GE's might be the biggest hack on campus.

The Honors College is worth going to APU for on its own. I chose to go through Honors and to stay in Honors because I recognized how it was benefitting and working in my life. I feel more capable of thinking knowledgeably about my faith and the world in general. I also feel like I will be a better friend, wife, mother, etc. because of what I learned here. The professors and the material are wonderful.

The Honors College has taught me how to interact and analyze different books in various ways. It has helped me foster a sense of belonging at Azusa Pacific University. Also, the Honors College Mentor Program is the best as it guides Freshman to be able to rely and reach out to one of the mentors in a higher undergraduate grade.
