It’s a great place to hang out for the day. There are places to charge the computer or other electrical gadgets on the second floor of the library for the adult section. The librarians are quite friendly.

Beautiful library and staff was very friendly, my only issue is the outdated books in the kids section. Very sexist boys books are all about how awesome they are and all the fun stuff they can do, while girls books contain info such as beauty is key and how to trick people into thinking they're models. Time to update the literature we're offering our youth!

Love our library. Our library has so many programs for ALL ages! We love going to the baby bounce program for my 1 year old it's learning based they get to interact with other babhs their ages but they also have programs and event for my 6 year old. And I've seen teen related programs as well. I've personally went two adult programs myself and absolutely loved it. I'm so happy they offer so many things for the family to do. They have a great play center and tons of activities to check out with the library card that are STEM projects or even just movies to take home and watch with the family. Couldn't be happier with our library

I love our public library here in Winnemucca. The ladies downstairs (in the children's department) are amazing and always go above and beyond. I'm so incredibly thankful for them. They helped us feel like Winnemucca was our home, before anything else really did. 💕

For a place that is supposed to be quiet, this library isnt and never is when I go. The organization system is outdated with different genres mixed together under general fiction or non-fiction instead of clearly designated areas for historical, mystery, western, young adult, etc. And then on top of that the lights are so bad you can't see the title of the books at all! Get some natural light in there! Also there is no guest station where the patron can put in a title to see if it is available or recommend similar titles. There already is a software called Libby, use it.

Best internet by far in town. Well kept fully stocked Library. Plenty of DVDs, audiobooks, and five computers for those who don't have laptops. Friendly, welcoming staff. Open to 8pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Saturday 10-4 during the summer.
