I'd advise you to give them a chance. Ashley there is always eager to help. I understand at this part of the country there is somewhat of a distrust when it comes to official entities and what some refer to as "big government". But in my opinion big administration is only troubling if one particular group usurps all the power and only promotes one socio-ethnic group or gives unfair advantages to the members of the same club. Otherwise we all depend on each other in a certain sense and there is nothing wrong if in time of need one asks for assistance without fear or shame. There may be options and possibilities to further your education and get some aid in acquiring new marketable skills that you are not even aware of.

The rudest bunch of people put together in one place. I'm am going to try and reach out to the director. Jennifer Sharp / Roop and her supervisor Melissa are possibly the rudest two people I spoke with at a government entity.

I have been calling for one and a half months now. I have uploaded all documentation before even being asked so that it was readily available. I have never spoken with a person. I have made 86 calls to the original unemployment number. They then changed their number, which is actually being outsourced to a different state. I called the new number over 100 times, finally got a girl, clearly outsourced. Was told to call back tomorrow during business hours because I need a claims specialist to speak to and the claims specialist are not taking phone calls today so they could focus on claims. Then tells me my claim is held up because of a claim I made in 2016, I never made an unemployment claim in 2016. I tried to explain this but it was talking to a wall. So I finally get someone, incompetent, outsourced, and get told there's no one I could talk to. You wait on hold for an hour then it automatically hangs up on you and tells you to call back during business hours. You basically sit and do that over and over and over. Forget chat, chat consistently says that it's not business hours. Sadly this experience reflects how everything is in Idaho. I've never lived in such a backwards, unprofessional, uneducated State. I hope I don't have to live here much longer.

So after 3 calls all of which hold time was 30 mins plus i called again to complain because it seems that either their phone service is shotty, unlikely, or their CSR's are intentionally hanging up on people. I didn't get upset until the last time in which I explained the previous calls and asked to be transfered to a supervisor to report the issue. He placed me on hold, after about two mins the line just hung up....and again that was after a 40 min hold. You guys act as if you're doing us a favor or something and you're not. And I'm sure this isn't the first time, I just happen to be more vocal. You have a pandemic going on out here. Now is not the time for you guys to be playing games when peoples lives are at stake. And please i don't need some apology posted here about who to contact. How about you guys step it tf up!

Only one person there to help you. They're rude and not helpful at all. They don't know anything. It doesn't matter what the issue is, it's always the applicants fault. Don't bother, it's easier just to go find work. A waste of time.
