I loved my entire experience with Idaho Medical Academy. From the online course information to the instructors, I was able to learn things I’d never thought I’d be able to. With 3 kids and a part time job, I was able to complete this course at my own pace and could reach out to instructors for help and guidance. There are so many video resources for people who are visual learners like myself. The skills week was so great with some awesome and passionate instructors at the Portland location. I’m excited for my new journey and couldn’t have come this far without IMA!

Took the self-paced EMT course over my winter off-season. Gave myself about 4 months, ended doing about an hour or two each day and was comfortably able to finish the class with a month to spare before the skills week. All the instructors were super helpful and available to answer questions when I had them. Highly recommend the course and plan on doing so for coworkers who might be interested.

I thoroughly enjoyed my BLS class. Brittany was a great instructor and ensured we were comfortable and confident in our ability to administer CPR and use an AED. I highly recommend Idaho Medical Academy!

I also enjoyed my BLS Instructor class. Kate was an excellent instructor and ensured each student was prepared to provide this life saving training to others. The opportunity to teach a class in the afternoon was excellent. I highly recommend IMA to anyone looking to become an AHA Instructor.

I took the BLS/CPR course and had a great experience. The instructor was knowledgeable and very experienced, moved us through the course at a great pace, and answered every question we fired at her. It was very organized, efficient, and helpful. Totally recommend it!

Brittany was such a great instructor, BLS class was fun we only had 3, so I felt we really got to take our time and talk about situations. I could tell our instructor had a lot of experience with BLS, with her being a former EMS first responder. Would recommend to anyone renewing their BLS or a first time experience!

I took a CPR class here, it was taught by Gina. The class was simple and easy to understand. The instructor was welcoming and informative. The equipment was clean and a pleasure to practice with. Would highly recommend!
You have a choice to purchase the instruction book when you register but I didn't and we never used it so I saved some money there.

Did the self-paced course in a month (Highly don't recommend, but doable) and it was layed out better than any college course I've taken! The skills week was as good as it could possibly get. Each instructor was there to help you and walk you through any help that was needed. It looked as if every single instructor wanted to be there. Truly lucky I picked this organization to get my EMT cert!
