Can’t talk to anyone about schooling. I have called over 15 times and never got an answer or a call back you can email the teachers but can’t talk to them on the phone I have asked them to call me many times. The process is extremely confusing with no support/guidance for first time parents putting their kids in home schooling. I put my child in this program because In person schooling wasn’t dealing with the bullies at four different schools. And they wouldn’t let me in the class to see how the deal with the bullies. So I put her in online hoping it would be better but my child’s computer just stopped working couldn’t get anyone on the phone fore over a week. Got a nice agent when I used the chat and she put a request in then I got nothing for another week so I went to chat and now every chat agent doesn’t see my messages I guess because I type my problem and they say let me read your issue then ask me to verify my name and child name and then they say hello are you still there and I have told them 5 times what the names are. I didnt know schooling was so freaking hard to get a hold or or even get your child to class..

Worst customer support, have been hung up on multiple times for being frustrated. The workers seem to know absolutely nothing about their own tech despite it being their literal job to help with it. I would give a -3 star review but unfortunately that’s impossible, in the many years we’ve been with K-12 I can only say that there was a singular decent one and it was the very first year we joined.

My daughter attended this school from 7th to 12th grade, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. As an educator myself, I was impressed with the quality of the academics as well as the kind, helpful staff and the fun social activities.

I have attended this school for 10 years, and now I am a senior here at IDVA who has more college credits than I can count. This school has amazing opportunities, and I couldn't have asked for a better school. The teachers are AMAZING, the opportunities for scholarships, the help we get, everything is more than I could ever ask for.

Idaho Virtual Academy has been a life saver for our family. My daughter had gone to Catholic Schools K-7. She has ADHD and Anxiety. She was left wounded and disempowered. Idaho Virtual Academy staff have been compassionate, accommodating and incredibly responsive, not only with emails but with phone calls also. I cannot say enough positive things. One additional plus is that my daughter was able to cheer (one of her passions) at Eagle Middle School. Thank you for being here Idaho Virtual Academy and offering a quality education though this model.

The enrollment process is an absolute nightmare. The ā€œenrollment specialistsā€ struggle to make heads or tales of the process and don’t really seem to have an understanding of the requirements. This may be because the requirements are unrealistic and rigid. An example would be if the student you’re enrolling didn’t receive a report card as of your application date, for the current school year, your child will be denied as a current progress report is not sufficient. Additionally, you’ll send the same documents at least 4 times, in 4 different ways and still be denied because their representatives ā€œcan’t read themā€. Either the resolution is low or the print is too small or something was blurry. When you finally find a way to get the documents to them in a way they’ll manage to read, they will still deny your child because of some silly rule such as your utility company put your name on one side of your bill and your address on the other. Madness! On top of all this drama, their phones don’t work half the time. When you can get through, you can’t hear or understand their representatives. Their website is not reliable and crashes often. This ā€œschoolā€ is a mess, on a good day. I would never even consider allowing my child to attend an institution like this based on the enrollment process alone.
