Both of my children attended Imagine School at Mountain View one from kindergarten through fifth grade, the other kindergarten to second, and overall, we had a great experience. The staff is compassionate and focused on positive morals, ethics, and behavior support. While we had some concerns at times, they were always open to addressing them in a professional and supportive manner. I especially liked the small school size and the strong sense of community. As an involved parent, I’d recommend this school for anyone seeking a nurturing, family-like environment for their kids.

My oldest child has been at the school for the last two years and we have literally as a family been quiet about a lot of the issues at the school because we wanted to see the benefit of the charter program.
When our journey began at the school, I was a stay at home mom so I elected to help out around the school by joining PTO and helping out as much as I could to show my daughter that I supported her learning journey. When the school asked for donations or supplies, I was always the one to sign up, including around the holidays. I donated over 15 hams to this school one year. It wasn’t until last year when I started to notice that I wasn’t really appreciated, and I started to see the administration for who they really were. Last year when I decided to leave the PTO organization, the decision was fueled by many factors. The most important was I had been spending a lot of time at the school of volunteering for carnivals and school dances and other activities that they needed help with. I kid you not these people didn’t even know what my name was and I have been working and helping and volunteering around the school for several months, including recruiting other parents to join the parent teacher organization. they did not ever acknowledge who I was until I became an issue for example parking and undesignated parking areas or trying to pick up my children early from school. Most recently my circumstances have changed and I am coparenting my two children, who both attend this school. I explained to the office personnel on Monday that I have to leave work on a lunch break to pick up my children. You would think this would not be an issue especially since my youngest son is in kindergarten there and he’s released at 2:55 anyway when I first brought this to their attention I was told that it would count as an unexcused absence. My response was I understand, but my children will only be here until the end of September because we are moving to the south. On that day, my children were released without an issue or rebuttal. As of yesterday, I went to pick up my children, and I usually will make the call before I get to the school to have them ready because I’m a few minutes away. Yesterday when I went to pick up my children, the woman in the office Miss Allen and Miss Presley told me that I could not release my children before 3:30 PM because it was too disruptive. They also offered me access to the champions program which is $85 a week for 3 days (340 per month) for one hour a day 3 days a week. I reiterated that I was on the time crunch and I needed to get back to work, they told me no exceptions would be made, and they would not release my children. I was furious, and I had no idea how to respond, I asked again, please go and get my children, I have to get back to work. They refused, I made a phone call because I needed to figure out who I would speak to if Im being denied access to my children . Eventually they released the children to me. I have never experienced this with any school EVER. They could care less about you or your family. You are just a number here.

We have been with Imagine for over 5 years now. We have been very happy with both the school staff and curriculum. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly and communicate very well with the families. The curriculum is top notch and I feel our children are getting an above average education here. Most importantly though is that our children love the school. They love the teachers and look forward to being there everyday. I highly recommend Imagine!

This is great school. All three of my children have either attended or are currently attending and will finish out elementary school here. I've had nothing but positive interactions with the teacher and staff. They have extra-curricular activities after school and a sports leauge through the charter association. My son was part of the Fall Baseball team and has an awesome time. Coach A was excellent with the kids and very patient with teaching them the sport. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Our son has been going to Imagine Schools at Mountain View for the last few years and we can't imagine him going anywhere else. We moved last year and considered changing schools but the staff here truly shows on a daily basis how much they care. The morning car pool staff knows every student by name, there are clubs kids can participate in and school sports (like Fall Baseball with Coach A and Basketball with Coach Jared). We absolutely love the community this school has built.
