I attended my first IVRC training day event in May (not only for this club, but first ever) and I can't say enough about how kind, welcoming, and helpful everybody was.

My Lab was not bred for hunting but he has a lot of drive so I was curious to see if we both would like it and we absolutely did! I had a lot of questions (all.day.long) and somebody was always available to answer. I never felt any judgement, just a willingness to share and a genuine enthusiasm for the sport. I also received training to start working shifts in the blinds and some great pointers when it was our turn (we have a lot to work on).

Last but absolutely not least, their photographer, Janet, caught some amazing shots of the pups in action which was such a great way to commemorate our first outing!

All in all, it was a lot of fun and I would encourage anyone who is interested to check it out!

Pulled up to let out dog out to go pee on the side of the road. Random woman walked up demanding 30 dollars from us. We said no. She said we had to then leave. They don’t own any of the property trying to scam people
