Amazing! The teacher was great and my daughter looked forward to her weekly class. The books were easy to follow along and the teacher made learning sight words fun! Also the weekly assignments online were fun and engaging. This program definitely helped my daughter entering Kindergarten. She’s in the top two on “map testing”!

I highly recommend this language arts program for all reading levels!
While this program can be used for remedial learning, it can be used to advance your young reader as well! My daughter is a highly motivated reader who enjoys how engaging the live online classes can be. She also looks forward to the way the Institute of Reading Development have perfected the gamification of language arts!
As a parent, it can be difficult to find ways to engage in my daughters learning process; the Institute of Reading Development makes it painless and efficient! My daughter looks forward to each and every class she has and every new book is very exciting!

After finishing six weeks of summer classes, my son wanted to continue for another six weeks. All the classes were fun and interactive. Now, my son is fluent in reading and an independent reader. I highly recommend it for beginner readers to excel in reading and comprehension.

I enrolled my son thanks to his Elementary schools discount code and referral. He had a great experience over the two, five week courses…from the books to the lessons on zoom and even the homework was fun and educational. 5-stars!! Great instructors and material:) This has helped him/us prepare for & do even better in kindergarten.

AMAZING teachers here! The Summer The 5-week in-person Late Summer program was totally worth every penny. Our son gained the confidence he needed to start 1st grade & he is now reading independently to us - the entire book. They mail you the books you need - DO NOT read those books ahead, DO NOT bring other siblings to your child's sessions - it's a HUGE disservice to those of us that are trying to get our kiddos focused & to fall in love with reading, no matter how much you think your smaller children "are okay on a tablet" or phone, THEY ARE A DISTRACTION to the amazing learning environment these instructors put together. These folks know what they're doing, they're engaged, creative, caring & motivating throughout the program, changing the learning with movement, sight word activities & even the homework portion is SUPER important, fun & motivating to our little one - he looked forward to the activities with Wordy. This program WORKS, just plan on being an involved, committed parent & your kiddo will flourish.

The reading program we discovered was truly amazing for a myriad of reasons! First off, the selection of books was spot-on for the children's age group. My daughter was absolutely enthralled by each book she encountered, which is no small feat! Also, the session lengths were considerately crafted to perfectly match the kids' attention spans while still allowing enough time to delve into each aspect of the program. But what really set this program apart was the instructor, Ms. Penny. She was phenomenal at keeping the kids engaged. Her jolly demeanor and organizational skills made each session not just educational, but a total joy. If you're considering a program that will captivate and educate your child, this one is a winning choice!
