Not pleased with how they operate their billing. It's very outdated. Their services charge you for using a debit card and there's no way to setup autopay on your own. Gotta have a voided check.

Worst water department iv dealt with in my 50 yrs of paying bills. But the only other option is to go without. Life isn't fair, and back in the 1800's when a rich land owner lived upstream, you wanted to make sure he was happy if you relied on that stream. But why is it that way? Because evil people own & operate the water department here. If your tired of them, let's do something about it. I suggest each taxpayer and customer should have the option of alternate payment options, you can work off your bill if capable. Have an open chat on the water department website so the community could post and help one another. But not good ol James fork, nope. They will cut your water off in the middle of the summer with 2 children in the home. I do not want to give them any more of my money but I don't have a choice. I'm a single father.

I may 3 I paid my bill…
Then I was charged almost $300 a few days later and my water shut off for ME NOT READING THE METER!!!!!! I never knew I had to I just moved here. I took by he actual bill and they stamped it as paid. How does a $30 turn into $300 in a few days?

I've had James fork my whole life and only have been late on meter readings or parents a couple times. No matter how bad your struggling James fork could care less and will never cut you a break. Honestly their pretty sorry, they have to charge your 35$ to read your meter for you cause they know you have no choice but to use their water.

If I could give a lower rating I would. We have had nothing but problems with them since we moved out here. Every time we call for help or to pay a bill they are completely rude. If you are one day late on a $30 payment you have to pay $130 on top of your already due $30. $160!!! This hasn't only happened with us. Anytime they come out to fix a problem or turn water on, or even to collect a payment(which they charge you for too) Straight up, hands down RUDE! They DO NOT care. If it was possible I would switch water company's. I think the city of Greenwood should do something about this. It's ridiculous and disrespectful.

One star is way too generous for this organization! I'm a new customer. They failed to send me a bill and will not take responsibility for any of their actions. Oh wait, I already paid you guys based on the information on your website!

Now, I'm paying $60 to turn service back on but all they're going to do is unlock the box. I need to turn it back on at the box?!

Here's an idea - maybe you should work with your customers and provide service versus saying "we have at least 100 customers to deal with and can't make calls to them".

I pay all of my bills on time and have never been late!

Absolutely horrible! And to the person who put in their review to “pay your bill” well, I have been a customer for over 11 years with two houses on their service and have never even been late and I STILL get a terrible attitude every time I go in or need them to even answer a simple question.

They have never had to go above and beyond for me and I am glad because they darn sure wouldn’t. I don’t think there is any other place that has more terrible attitudes in the people who work there. There is no reason for it and I would love to have a different choice in someone to serve my water needs. FIX YOUR UGLY ATTITUDES!!! Or at least treat people with a tiny bit of dignity and respect! Jerks!!

ABSOLUTE thieves. They ripped me off on my deposit return. My monthly bill is only about $30.00 yet they took the $30.00 that was due plus $25.00 from Oct. 16th until Oct. 26 th. They are the MOST rude people I have ever dealt with in my life. I have lived all over the country and NEVER dealt with a utility company THIS crooked. They also charged $30.00 to read a meter that had been under water for months. It got to the point where I couldn't even bail it out and they had to pump,it out and refused to move the meter where it wasn't under water. Something SERIOUSLY needs to be done about this crooked company.
