Definitely worth the stop. Well done and informative. Adults and Kid's loved it. If coming from the North ignore the sign that says turn west it's wrong you have to go east!

I love bear river migratory bird refuge but the people that work in this place are very rude. My son was pointing at some of the taxidermy displays and talking about the different animals and one of the ladies that works there kept repeatedly telling him not to touch. I made it very clear multiple times that he wasn’t touching and that I was handling it and yet she continued to interject. Then on our way out another employee told us we needed to wash our hands because we touch the birds wish we didn’t.

The Bird Refuge is so peaceful. The education resources are fantastic for helping people understand why we need to protect our wetland areas, and also the human impacts for our choices in the land around the refuge. The staff are so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind.

A very nice museum and staff. The walking trail is well-maintained. Take some bug repellent. There're some pesky flies.

Nothing on their website indicated they were closed down due to covid. We wouldn't have made the drive if we had known. That being said outside was gorgeous. We went for a nice family hike and saw lots and lots of birds.
