Our experience at Journey has been exceptional. The teachers are truly invested in my children's education and their growth as learners. Adjustments are made as needed to meet the needs of the student. Small class sizes and leveled learning have enabled my children to gain confidence in their learning abilities. The administration is open minded and think outside the box to make Journey a successful educational experience for the students. Journey is committed to the whole child. They teach value lessons, communication and leadership skills. Patriotism is also present in their activities. Journey Education has been a very positive experience for our family.

Our son has blossomed here for the past three years. He started at a more military style private school (won't name) that had him as a "problem/disturbance". Turns out he is super smart but learns differently. Journey Education believes in teaching to each child's strength and weakness so the children move around all day to their ability. If they excel in one subject, they move ahead and if need more help, they have an enrichment class everyday to help them succeed. The teachers are amazing and care so deeply for each child. This is easier as their class sizes are small. Your child here gets a foundation that will carry through life for succeeding.

My children LOVE this school - from the teachers to the students to the challenging curriculum. Journey integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of values, and builds leaders through each of their classes and lessons.
Though it is a small school, it allows for a lower student to teacher ratio, giving children more confidence when asking questions, engage in group activities, and opportunities for one-on-one time with the teachers.
Teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within your child - their good behaviors and achievements; and they know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner. Great team - great school!

Our family has traveled more than most and out of all of our adventures with school I would have to say Journey has been the best! We have tried the nontraditional Montessori, Waldorf, etc. only to miss some of the structure and order that are kids needed. Then we went to public magnet schools and by far this has been the best experience so far. Small class sizes give individual attention to those who are excelling or are struggling. Having a faith based approach where they get to pray before class everyday is heartwarming, especially with all of the division that our country is experiencing right now. The school provides school activities and functions, along with musical and artistic expressions through out the year. The staff is by far one of my favorite things! The atmosphere is quiet and serene... A great learning environment along with a great moral and ethical expectation that makes our family so proud to call it home!

In this day-in-age, it is rare to say that a school can honestly make a difference in your kids life - - let alone the life of the parents. Journey will do just that. The small student teacher ratio and the unique approach to learning has made us a very happy family with an even happier second grader (boy). We tried other private, more expensive, schools that seemed to be the "in" schools to go to - - but the approach was very regimented and along the lines of "do it our way or the high way". Journey takes a different approach and they determine whats best for each kid - - something achievable due to the lower student/teacher ratios. Then they teach to the child's ability, not the overall classes ability. I also love the 4 day week which is fantastic for allowing a greater balance of time for non school stuff like sports, doctors appointments or small three day trips whereby you can come home on Monday and not miss any school.
I thank my good fortune every day of my son's life for the experience, not just the schooling, he receives at Journey.

My son, like all children, was born with a "love of learning". As he started progressing in the school district, he became bored, complacent, and restless. His "love of learning" quickly deteriorated and began to manifest as behavioral issues that included acting out and apathy toward learning.
The answer was simple. Find a school that challenged him enough to feed his "love of learning", acknowledge his individuality, and guide him to "do the right thing". I found this in Journey.
Journey brings out the best in every child by tapping into their individual strengths, while creating an environment of kindness, responsibility, and leadership. Our family is so grateful for our Journey family.

Very small school started for one large extended family. You have to be part of their clique to have value. We were treated like outsiders.

Basically a one room school house, no extracurricular activities. Director relies on family and friends to teach school. When we were there it was not accredited.
