As a mother it was one of the hardest decisions to send my son to an in-patient program. His dad and I do not regret sending him here as he has shown immense progress and the treatment has progressed his healing and the healing of our relationships within the family.
The communication and staff has been great. His therapist is wonderful and has bonded with him. We feel like we are finally seen, heard, and understood.
This has been a life changer for our son and our family. We are so grateful for them.

I would NOT recommend Kaizen for your child. There is zero structure, no communication among admin and mentors, disgusting kitchen and a concerning amount of staff turnover because of inappropriate behaviors. It's been demostrated abundantly by the executive director that nothing will be done to fix these issues. I recommend doing research on the owners and their previous projects... Truely amazing kids, (some) staff, ideas and program, executed by a few rich buisness friends that have no real goal of helping anyone.

I must agree that when we made the difficult decision to utilize their services, we were very pleased with the program, particularly the clinical director and how he managed the program and staff. Unfortunately, a new Executive Director was hired and did not recognize how skilled this clinical director was. He brought in friends and former co-workers who essentially had a different agenda, not necessarily a bad one, but changed the program from what we signed up for. The clinical director wound up leaving because he recognized that agenda which undermined his leadership. The disruption in the relationship and this director and the change in the approach exacerbated a great deal of difficulties with our son and we needed to take him elsewhere. Granted, our child is very complex and that may have happened anyway but to have the program change after you committed to something else was difficult. I also had an issue with one of the staff which I shared multiple times, as did other parents and nothing was done.

I was very impressed by how professional everything was, the house was neat, and the mentors had great rapport with the kids. The boys were able to learn real-world skills and it was nice to see.

I am a student at kaizen and I must say it’s worth going to if you need the help. I have been to multiple different programs and the staff and higher ups at kaizen truly care and are always there to help if needed👍
