I feel bad for writing this review but it honestly has to be said. The teachers are amazing! The coolest and most fun teachers ever that does a good job at teaching but this school doesn’t prepare you for college at all. I graduated from this school 4 years ago and I have seen about 2 people who also graduated same year as me successfully finish college on time. I myself am still struggling and finishing late. Some of the basic stuff I am learning in college still, people said that they’ve learned from highschool. This just goes to show that not much is taught in this school but what you need to know for passing the regents exam. Please if you want to be successful in college find another highschool that will prepare you or you’ll struggle like a lot of us right now.

This school is appalling...
Their students congregate under the Y
Scaffold, smoking, eating , a throwing their rubbish on the sidewalk for the rats..
They yell misanthropic treats & taunts to the women who walk by.
This behaviour has been noticed and recorded
By property owners on State St.
I went to speak to the principle. Last year and he was dissmissive.
& yet he had the gall, to stand up at a community meeting; And proclaim his school is such a great benefit to the community.
The corner deli on third and state had to call the cops to keep the students off his property
Now the hang out by the Y.
It is a disgrace & NY tax payers pay for this school.

You can't get your rights in this school, the teachers are all one hand against any parent who has a complaint, and no one cares about the students' psychological problems،they only care about this easy job for them Because there are not so many students in the school, I thank God for helping me and getting my daughter out of this school, which no one succeeds in.
