We moved to Rockwall 6 months ago and found Kiddie Academy during our search to watch our 2 girls. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. The owners and entire Kiddie Academy family are amazing. We have had absolutely no worries during this time that our girls are in a safe environment. They are happy and are learning so much everyday. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great daycare for their children!

To say how grateful I am for the owners of Kiddie Academy, Perry and Lisa, and well as the Director, Krista, is an understatement.

I was petrified to start my four month old in daycare, especially being a first time parent, but Krista instantly put me at ease the first time I ever spoke with her on the phone.
The three of them are all so considerate and I am at peace knowing my child is in the care of such genuinley kind people.

I am also so grateful to have her teachers, who do the impossible. They all work tirelessly to ensure that each child has the utmost standard of attention, care, and advances in their development.

The option to watch my child from work with an app on my phone really helped me transition and get over a lot of separation anxiety. They also do an incredible job with logging their feedings and changings (occasionally I even get a cute photo of my child sent to me).

The facility is extremely clean, organized, and you can clearly see all of the measures they take to sanitize and maintain a healthy environment for our babies.

They make my life so much easier and will take the extra step to make sure you are comfortable and answer any questions you have. They are all so professional but make you feel like you are family at the same time.

I would highly recommend Kiddie Academy of Rockwall to anyone who is looking for an excellent place to trust their child’s care and needs with.

Absolutely love this place so far. Our baby started about 2 months ago and they are so great with communication, loving on our baby, and cameras so you always know what is going on. They do a lot of field trips and events for moms and dads to help build community. Feels like a neighborhood school which we love.

This is my second time leaving Kiddie Academy of Rockwall a review.
Unfortunately, I deleted my previous positive review and felt compelled as a mom to share our most recent experiences with this facility. My son had an amazing experience in his 12 -18 months(-ish) class. His teachers were kind, nurturing, and on top of classroom management.
However, our son moved classes to the older age group when we returned from summer break, and Kiddie Academy had new management and problems. After the summer break, our son attended Kiddie Academy for approximately two weeks before us pulling him from the facility. In his two weeks there, he was bit 5 days in a row, admittedly unprovoked, by the same child. I had multiple conversations with management about these incidents (after bites 2 & 3). At that time, it was decided that my son would move up to the next age group class as he was developmentally ready and would be separated from the biter. On Friday (bite 4), an action plan was developed by the Kiddie Academy management team. I was assured that the action plan would be implemented so my little one would be safe in the interim of him moving up classes and the rest of the days following. Our son was out on Monday, but when he returned to school on Tuesday for his first day of the new class, he was bit again by the same child (bite 5) before being put into his new room. I got the call around 8 a.m. When I asked about the action plan, I was told that the morning teachers were not informed. When given solutions to this problem, I was beyond disappointed that all three of their options involved singling out/ removing my son rather than addressing the biting issue.
I truly am not one to leave negative reviews, hence why I am just now posting this review, two weeks from us leaving Kiddie Academy. However, my son still has a scar on his shoulder where he was bitten, a daily reminder of our sad ending to what was a once loved place for our family.
When we started, the owners were very kind, and we had positive interactions with the majority of the staff. The teachers in his 12-18 month class were true gems for which we will forever be thankful. I sincerely hope that a Biting Policy can be put in place that protects all parties involved and that this facility can go back to what it was in the beginning.

Tried enrolling my kids here only to be lied to and told that they didn’t have a bus route for my kids school when I see them there EVERY DAY , and this was after the director confirmed they did in fact go to their school. in addition to that they claimed they don’t have after school care for my daughter which makes absolutely no sense. So you have availability for her to be there 12 hours a day but not 3 hours ? From the very beginning I’ve had several people tell me several different things and when I tried calling today their line was busy . If they didn’t want my children enrolled there they could’ve just said that instead of blatantly lying as if I’m stupid. Thankfully I found a closer, much nicer daycare that happily welcomed my children without any of the high turnovers or gimmicks this one has. Do better

We love everything about Kiddie Academy of Rockwall ! The owners, Perry & Lisa are 100% present (LITERALLY) and super caring and involved. Each staff member has a dedicated position and responsibility which they are passionate about: Krista, the amazing director that knows each kid by name and liking and hovers over them as if they were her own; Hanna, the curriculum coordinator that welcomes everyone with a smile every morning and doing such a great job building a program that is diverse and enriching; Melissa who is an amazing educator and does such a great job as our sons lead Teacher, creating a safe and super happy environment making him excited to come to school every morning. Even the teachers that are not directly involved with our son know him and care for him- I don’t know when or how but he is super close to some of them as well! That is just to show the very loving, family oriented, strong values and passion that is installed in every single person involved in this great school. Even the chef does such a great job creating healthy meals that the pickiest eater LOVES ( any food sensitivity is taken into account - we have experienced that 1st hand). A lot of schools will offer a place for your child to spend the day, not so many will actually educate and even less will enrich and love (and RESPECT!) your kid. As parents we try to provide the very best- Kiddie Academy of Rockwall is THE BEST, and since they know it- they have no problem offering full transparency with great camera system, daily reports and pics and full access to staff with any questions/ concern you may have. After having some bad experience elsewhere- we feel lucky and blessed to have a place like Kiddy Academy of Rockwall for our son to call his 2nd home.
