Kool Minds has been such a blessing to my son.
He is currently enrolled there and I'm very happy with the progress he's making. He is neurodivergent and this is a school that meets him where he is.

He loves his teacher, and all of the staff working with him. He has made improvements in reading, math, and social interactions. He never complains about going to school and loves telling me about what he does every day.

I would highly recommend this school, especially for children who are not making progress in a typical school setting.

In 2nd grade my daughter was reading below grade level. She qualified for an IEP and was put into walk to read to help. Fast forward to 3/4 of the way thru 4th grade same issues no progress just falling farther behind! We tested for the U of U Summer reading program and she was flagged for dyslexia!
There wait list was 3 years! I contacted Kool Minds and had her tested for services, they recommended cognitive therapy and the Barton Reading Program! We started in April today is my daughter’s last cognitive lesson the end of November! She loves coming and has improved tremendously! The school reassessed her for her IEP and could not believe her IQ was now 107! (Range is 85-115)! She is so proud and excited to learn! We are still in the Barton Reading Program and seeing confidence building every session!

If your child is struggling this is money well spent and the life skills learned will be worth the rewards, confidence and desire to succeed! Highly Recommend!

Highly recommend KoolMinds! We started a tutoring program for one of my kids to improve his reading skills and he has absolutely loved it! We have loved working with both the tutor, John, and the assistant director, Jonia. It’s only been a few weeks and I’ve noticed my child is more confident reading. He is also so happy and motivated after each of his lessons!

Our son was struggling with spelling. I signed up for a free consultation at the end of 2023, I was told that my son would benefit from going through their spelling, reading and cognitive programs. From the begining there was paperwork issues and various contact issues and changing teachers when when were promised to have Jonia our entire time. We went through 4 different teachers in the first few weeks. We were sent automated cancellations of classes that weren't cancelled Upon completing the program I feel a bit uncertain of what was paid as I have no before/after evaluation results. Katie was fantastic.

All of the administrative office things are in my opinion lacking I told them this in the first few weeks and wished to cancel service. Per the signed contract they said they were unable to refund most of my money. However, they did not fulfill their end of the contact that was signed by sending my son through 4 different teachers in the first few weeks.

After my son's last class Jonia caught me on the way out the door while she was teaching a summer class of several other students. and asked me if certain days worked for an exit evaluation. I told her that I didn't have time right then and asked her to setup something by text for the exit evaluation. That was on June 13. Today is August 5 and I still have not been contacted by Jonia by text, email or phone.

Katie has been absolutely amazing at helping my 9 year old son and 6 year old daughter (who is the early brain integration program) improve academically as well gaining confidence in several aspects of their lives! We are SO happy with our son's progress since starting Brain Works! We absolutely LOVE Katie and she is amazing with our son. She always helps him correct his mistakes without making him feel bad about them, which is miraculous! Reading has improved drastically and retention is so much better. I would highly recommend this, it does things that tutoring never did.

My two daughters went through the program. I saw amazing results with both of them. My oldest daughter had a hard time staying focused. She couldn't keep up with the class. I had to sit with her to get her homework done so that she would stay focused. After the program she could do her homework on her own. She jumped reading levels. It has been a year since she finished the program and she is now top of her class! My youngest daughter struggled more. When she started the Brain Works program her school started doing evaluations to put her into resource. After a few months on the program the school would not qualify her for resource because of the progress she was making. Her focus improved, her reading went up, and she could listen and follow directions better. I would recommend this program to anyone. It has changed my daughters school experience!
