I’ve been training martial arts for 3 years and I’m going to be 7 in December. I trained Karate/TKD as well as Shaolin KungFu. K Star Academy is by far the best experience I’ve had so far. My coaches are so fun and they really make me want to do my best. There are such amazing opportunities at K Star if you want to develop yourself. I’m so excited to see where this leads me.

I came from Quebec to benefit from the teaching of Philipp Sahagun and his team, during a quick 5-day stay. The passion and incredible quality of the teaching won me over and reignited the flame of martial arts which was beginning to fade due to back pain. The practitioners are welcoming and always ready to guide you and explain the exercises to you. The warm welcome I received and the generosity of Philipp, Ulziibayar and Sebastian are things I am grateful for and will never forget. It is a school that I highly recommend at all levels if you want to experience the passion for Kung Fu and develop your skills in a solid and complete way.

I wanted to sign my daughter up for the contortion classes, she is a cheerleader who really wanted to level-up her flexibility. Coach Ulzi is a true expert and an amazing teacher, we are already making real progress after a few weeks.
The rest of our family already trains in martial arts, and they have a great family membership price, so we all signed up to do some classes. They have a great variety of classes like conditioning, combat, flexibility, as well as martial arts classes. The gym is large, modern, and has a really positive vibes. Great coaches and you get to train with some very talented athletes

My daughter was invited to tryout K-STAR Training Academy by the head instructor, Philip Sahagun. She began working out in December and confirmed what Philip had suspected, she adapted to the martial arts very well. Elena is under direct instruction three times a week and works on her technique at home. Her progress to date has been impressive. I highly recommend the K-STAR Training Academy. The instructors are knowledgeable, the facilities are modern, the environment is very positive and affirming, and everyone is helpful. The students here are learning more than simply how to punch and kick. They are learning life skills by being exposed to a blend of East meets West philosophy.

I’ve been training at K-STAR for the past 3 months. I had taken dance and aerial classes in the past but never martial arts and hand stands specifically before. The instruction, studio cleanliness and overall energy of the students and coaches at K-Star is top notch! Philip and Ulzii are not only amazing athletes and artists but also fantastic instructors! They have an incredible ability to meet students where they’re at and simultaneously support and push them to improve. In these unprecedented times it’s been a true blessing to find K-Star’s world class instruction and to be part of their community. I’ve been attending K-star for contortion, conditioning and handstand classes for a few months now and the coaches here are amazing. They not only know how to train their artists and athletes safely but they know how to push us to the next level. The environment is incredibly positive, supportive and welcoming.
