We were promptly connected with Dr. Raman for an evaluation of our two sons, ages 11 and 14. Our primary goal was to enhance their annual testing performance and address learning gaps resulting from summer learning loss. Dr. Raman conducted thorough assessments for both children and provided a structured, personalized plan aimed at bringing them up to grade level and beyond.

By consistently following the recommended plan, both boys experienced noticeable improvements—not only in their test scores but also in completing homework and developing essential life skills. Over time, they became faster and more efficient in all areas of their academic work. As a result, homework required less time, as they were able to quickly recall and apply their knowledge with confidence and ease.

I finished The Kumon Math Program within a year. Kumon taught me how to balance my time by having to balance Kumon, Track&Field, Gymnastics, all Honors classes and Homework. Saying it was easy is a vast understatement. It definitely took a lot of time to adjust at first but I wouldn’t change a thing about my experience. I looked forward to going to Kumon every Monday and Thursday for the enjoyment of getting help with the math problems that made my brain turn upside down. I’m so thankful for having Dr. Ramen by my side for the entirety of this adventure. Almost every time I went to go ask for my Kumon homework, Dr. Ramen asked if I still wanted to go at such a fast pace, he truly cared about my wellbeing, and that is one of the things that sets him apart from every other Kumon Mentor. Dr. Ramen always gave me the option of slowing down on the amount of Kumon, he never once pressured me into doing so much Kumon everyday. He simply asked “Are you sure you don’t want to slow down” and always supported my decision of not wanting to slow down. Everyone in the Kumon center is so sweet, kind, and always want the best for their students. They don’t brush their students aside, they sit down with them and help them understand the work. The kindness in all of their hearts go unmatched. No one is ever judged for not passing a test or not understanding their class work. That is another reason why this Kumon center is set apart from all the others. I deeply appreciate every single person who helped me succeed in finishing the Kumon math program. I truly could not have succeeded without them. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Kumon Green River Rd because of Dr Ramens leadership and guidance .

Not every Kumon is the same, and we love our Kumon Center. We can tell that the owner, Dr. Raman, has a passion for education. He pays close attention to each student’s progress and make appropriate adjustments. He knows when to challenge students to the next level, and he also knows when to slow down to avoid overwhelming the students.

We live in Chino Hills, and there are quite a few other Kumon centers near our home (about 5-10 minutes drive). After inquiring and researching in our own, we decided to go to Dr. Raman’s center. Sometimes with traffic it would take us 30 minutes to drive to Corona, but it’s worth it because it advanced my child academically in a friendly environment, which is our goal. We have been to this place for about 7 months now, it took her only a few months to advance from 4th grade to 6 grade math, and now she is learning 7-8th grade math.

My child and I also love the staff there. All of them were very encouraging, patient, and friendly. They encourage my child to face challenges and never give up. I am thankful for them.

My 8 year old has been attending this center for Math and English. Dr Raman is very involved, attentive and communicates with parents regularly. The teachers are awesome! Their patience, professionalism and encouragement has definitely improved my sons confidence. We have seen how it's helped his speed and efficiency to excel in the classroom and provide a strong base. Most importantly my son enjoys it, since its such a nice learning environment.

Excellent!!! Our son was struggling in both reading and math when we started last summer. In less than a year, the staff at Kumon have brought him close to grade level and he is thriving. Raman was very informative and constantly gave us updates and asked how he was doing on his packets. He instructed us on how to work with him and was also impressed with how quickly he picked up. The staff and Raman are extremely dedicated to helping kids learn, and I feel that they have a personal relationship with every family that is there. They really want to help kids and families to be confident with education. Our son loves going to Kumon and has set goals of getting the globe and the star at one of the award ceremonies!

Our daughter has had such a positive experience at Kumon which I find that this location and Dr Ramen make all the difference. Mr. Raman and his staff at Kumon of Green River in Corona provide and excellent program to boost your child’s understanding in reading and math.
My daughter was enrolled in their math program for eight years and graduated this past week. We encouraged the slow and consistent approach to best adapt to her busy schedule.
The results have been outstanding! She is now a sophomore in high school and has excelled in every math class she has taken.
