The team at this location is really great. With the new owner, I would disregard any previous negative reviews. We moved from the Convoy location to Lemon Grove, and the transition has been excellent. This location is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2 PM to 6 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. You can choose to attend one or two days, and you just need to show up within the time frame, which provides great flexibility. The reading area has been wonderful for developing my children’s desire to read. My child started TK and is doing exceptionally well because of the confidence he gained from the reading program he began when he was 3 years old. Confidence builds success.

We are new to this facility. So far my son has made improvements with reading and math within his first two months with Kumon. We are excited to see how he will improve in the future.

We made the decision to enroll our three children in the Kumon center, hoping that it would provide them with a quality education. However, our experience took a negative turn when one of the staff members, a Somali lady who was assisting with our children's learning, referred to one of our kids as 'dumb'. As soon as our children informed us about this incident, we immediately withdrew them from the center. It is disheartening that even after two years, our kids still recall this incident and it angers us to think that we entrusted their education to a place where they were belittled by an adult.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.
