My child went to LaPetite a little while back and I have been meaning to write a review to warn parents. They used to be fantastic until they changed ownership. The manager was two-faced and disingenuous in her attitude and dealings.
I do not recommend this establishment. 3 other parents left the same time we did and I am so glad my child does not go there anymore. 0/10

I am really impressed with La Petite Academy in Simi Valley. It truly is educational childcare! We've had our five year old twin sons enrolled since they were two years old. Much more often than not, they come home excited about their day. My husband and I are routinely delighted because they are constantly displaying new social and cognitive skills beyond what they learn from home.
The teachers and staff truly care about the development of your child. They enjoy what they do, two of the teachers Miss Pushpa and Miss Verlena have been there more than 20 years each. There is constant communication with the parents and new activities are planned daily. There is structure with kindness. The facility is clean and secure. Pickup and drop-off hours are flexible and really worked with our work schedules. Their rates are affordable. For all these reasons and more, I would highly recommend the child care program at La Petite Academy.

My 10 month old has been at La Petite since she was 22 weeks old. It was so hard for me to start leaving her at daycare, but I have to say it's been the best decision. She has grown so much and loves being there. She adores Miss Karen and interacts with the other babies her age. I've really grown to adore all the ladies here and I'm so thankful to have them watch over my baby girl a couple days a week. I would recommend La Petite to other working moms.

I have to say that La Petite has been a wonderful school for my children. My now 6th and 5th grader attended La Petite for both their Preschool and Pre-K program and it was a wonderful experience. So naturally, it was the only place I considered when I was ready to enroll my then three year old daughter into a preschool program. She has now been attending for 1 1/2 years and the school is the same as I remembered from when my two older children attended. I cannot say enough about the staff - they are amazing! The director and teachers display the kind, warm, nurturing care that all parents expect for their children. They all truly care about the well-being of your child. The center is clean and every safety measure has been taken to keep the children safe within the school, such as punch key codes needed to enter both the center lobby and the classrooms. The school is very family oriented and parents are encouraged to participate and/or volunteer for the various activities held throughout the year. Overall, my experience with La Petite has been great and feel they have done an excellent job in preparing my children both educationally and socially for an easy transition into kindergarten.

I decided to enroll my three year old son in La Petite Academy about six weeks ago. He goes part-time 2 days a week for half a day. He absolutely loves going to this preschool. The teachers are all very attentive and sweet with the kids. Ms. Karen and Ms. Cynthia do a great job educating the children as well as keeping them entertained and orderly. I have seen improvement with his speech and his willing to participate in educational activities. He seems excited to learn how to write his name and learn the alphabet. The facility is kept secure with multiple key pads and it is very clean. When I return to work, I will be enrolling my son full time and my daughter as well. I like that I do all the payments for tuition online.

La Petite Academy is an amazing place for children to learn and grow. I have two boys that are ten years apart in age and both of them have attended La Petite. When I was first looking at daycares for my oldest, one of the things I noticed with La Petite was their security. I really like their security measures and know my child is safe. Trust me it is pretty hard for anyone to just waltz in there. The teachers really care about the kids and focus on their growth. They have an open communication with the parents and set up parent conferences to discuss the progress/needs of the child. They have very fun learning activities for the kids. La Petite set the foundation for my boys and prepared them for elementary school. Both my kids graduated from La Petite. The graduations are fun and its great for the kids to experience it. It truly is a big accomplishment for them to move to the next step. Miss Verlena and Miss Pushpa have been with La Petite for 20 years. Their experience and knowledge has helped not only to develop my kids but so many other children. Miss Verlena has been a great part of my boys' lives. Her name is very popular in our household. My oldest will soon start high school and he never forgets about Miss Verlena and her million dollar smile. I cannot thank her enough for her time and dedication. This is why I highly recommend La Petite.

LPA has a varied and stimulating setting for both my infant and my toddler. I have complete confidence my children are being cared for by loving, highly competent teachers, and this makes my days at work much easier. I have seen tremendous growth in my 2-year-old -- her skills, verbally and physically, amaze and impress me every day. When my infant first started, he wasn't taking his bottle. The teachers had him drinking like a champ by their second try on that first day. They were able to get him settled with a crib nap routine that helped him get into one at home. I look forward to watching my children grow and flourish further as they spend their weekdays at La Petite.

My daughter has been going here from 2 Months to A little over 2 years now and loves it there.. if she can't be with me I'm so glad to have kind, caring, loving people who truly care about her to be there with her as well as the great program and activities they have. She has learned so much and I am thankful to La Petite and Their staff for all the attention and care that she recieves.
