From the very first day, I felt supported, encouraged, and truly seen. It’s rare to find a school where students are treated with genuine care and respect, but LVC delivers just that. The atmosphere is positive and uplifting, and the faculty go above and beyond to ensure you not only succeed but thrive. One of the biggest highlights for me was learning under Professor Ms. Soto Her dedication, passion, and patience made a real difference. She took the time to explain things thoroughly, pushed us to do our best, and celebrated every win with us! LVC is a community where students can grow, feel empowered, and leave with a sense of pride in what they've accomplished.

I had an amazing experience at LVC, and I absolutely loved the teacher, but what really stood out to me was my externship coordinator, Ms. Tammy Brown. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate her support during my externship. Not only did she guide me through the entire process, but she also went above and beyond to help me navigate some personal challenges I was facing at the time. Her kindness, patience, and understanding made all the difference. She truly made the externship an enjoyable and positive experience. I am so grateful that she is part of the team at the school, and I hope that everyone who goes through externship after me gets to experience how wonderful and supportive Ms. Tammy is. She is a truly remarkable person, and I feel lucky to have had her by my side during this journey.

Las Vegas College is an excellent college. They have great educators who really care about their students. My overall experience in the classroom was great. The office staff could use some work as far as communication is concerned. I experienced a lot of confusion once I completed my course, but Ms. Rachel is great. I highly recommend this college.

As a proud graduate of the Las Vegas College Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, I can confidently say that this institution provided me with an exceptional education and a supportive environment that truly prepared me for my nursing career.

From the moment I enrolled, I was impressed by the college's commitment to academic excellence and student success. The program is meticulously designed to accommodate working professionals, which was a major plus for me as I balanced my full-time nursing job while also managing the responsibilities of being a mother to three girls. The flexibility built into the curriculum allowed me to effectively manage my workload and still excel in both my job and my academic responsibilities.

One of the standout features of the program is the dedication and responsiveness of the faculty. The professors are not only highly knowledgeable and experienced in their fields, but they are also genuinely invested in their students' success. Whenever I had questions or needed additional support, they were quick to respond and always provided insightful feedback and guidance. This level of engagement made a significant difference in my learning experience and overall confidence in my nursing practice.

The curriculum itself is thoughtfully crafted to provide a comprehensive and practical education. It includes a good balance of theory and hands-on experience, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the complexities of modern nursing. The assignments and coursework are designed to be manageable even with a full-time job, which helps in maintaining a healthy work-study-life balance.

Las Vegas College BSN program is an excellent choice for anyone looking to advance their nursing education while continuing to work professionally. The supportive faculty, flexible program design, and high-quality education make it a standout institution. I am incredibly grateful for my time at Las Vegas College and the opportunities it has afforded me in my nursing career.

This would be a great school if they provided better accomodations and assistance in general. I've reached out several times since graduation in January and I haven't heard anything back. In my own experience, I've been yelled at by staff members when I never raised my voice. I did defend myself in some of these situations and was retaliated against and threatened with expulsion. I still went forward and informed another staff member and I was never in trouble but it's unprofessional to yell at students for staff members mistakes. For my externship, I had to shred paper pretty much all day or do little to nothing. My original externship site I was set up with could not accommodate 1 day where my child was sick and LVC never actually tried to place me anywhere else. I spent so long in front of a PC doing almost nothing or shredding paper. Update 10/16/24. I was given my transcripts but I still have no NCCT. They told us they were gonna pay for it but I haven't heard anything in months. They are ensuring I cannot enter this field correctly. They took my Pell Grant and ran! I honestly hate this place with all my heart.

They will hold your paperwork and certificates hostage, if you call you can’t get through to the right people, and nobody in the office knows what they are doing. I requested my transcripts 4 times, twice by email, left a voicemail, then had to show up and I got an envelope, I was made to input another request because I wanted them emailed. The receptionist is RUDE. This “school” is a joke. Staff admits they don’t know what they are teaching, and that they don’t teach you what you need to know to be licensed. If you attend here be ready to buy your own books and teach yourself. I had to buy a NCCT and ECG book to try to understand things. Staff also goes around yelling at students as another review here mentioned. Very unprofessional.

This school is not even worth a star. The medical assistant program teachers are unprofessional and love to be apart of drama and add gasoline to the fire. You do not learn a portion of what you need to be an efficient student let alone medical assistant. This school is based off attendance more then knowledge. They don’t care if you have a 98% if you have 79.9 percent In attendance you will fail that mod. Again you do not learn anything besides how to copy words for homework off sentences in the books. You’re not reading the books to learn anything you’re reading them to get the missing words to get in the worksheet. You do Microsoft assignments and a ridiculous amount of typing tests that have nothing to do with the program itself. Teachers like Ms Smith will teach you improper methods of injections, especially glute. They provide the saline solution for the injections but have known to be expired or even given to use on other students when the bottle states for demo use only. So keep an eye out. DONT NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY GO TO ANOTHER SCHOOL if you want to learn how the environment truly works and the proper methods they really use. Las Vegas College teaches students to write progress notes but won’t teach you how to do referrals, obtain labs or input patient information on a computer like other schools do. They give you a tablet so you can access your book but that’s it that’s the most technical thing you do.
