Have you guys ever checked the fries in burger combo? THEY ARE OVERFRIED IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO EAT IT FEELS LIKE MILITARY CRACKER. Also, there are NO SANDWICHES WITHOUT HAM. How are religious people supposed to eat food there?

The first year Lassonde Studios opened, I lived here with a roommate and the common space outside my room was so noisy with people partying into all hours of the night that I started to hallucinate from lack of sleep. The administration wrote me up for having unburnt decorative candles and never addressed any of my concerns regarding the unchecked partying and drugs around me that was exhausting me and degrading my quality of life. I had to terminate my lease early, due to mental health reasons, but fortunately without a fine because they had caused me so much suffering. I really hope the administration is more mature and responsive now.

Location is nice since can walk almost anywhere on campus in less than 15 mins, access to the train to explore downtown. But whoever thought it was a smart idea to design the pods with 20 rooms and no desks within each room, and only 2 good corners to study in should lose their architecture license! They should loft the beds or do something to improve it, since it causes anxiety not having a dedicated spot to study.

Beautiful building and work space. The resources available to students here are incredible. I highly encourage every University of Utah student to learn about the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute and the ways in which it can help them accomplish their goals. The cafe is also a great spot to have lunch on campus.

The staff here is amazing. Their goal is to get student companies to succeed. If it weren’t for the studios, my start-up never would have made it off the ground. The resources are great also; mentors, networking, seed grants, free legal consulting etc.

A live/work space for creative types of all stripes. First floor is a launch pad for student start ups complete with 3D printers, laser cutters, and all kinds of fabrication tools from drill presses to hand lathes and impact wrenches. The remaining floors are themed and cross collaboration is encouraged. This dove was founded by the Lassonde institute.

Great place to live, the forced meal plan and expensive food downstairs is kinda messed up. It’s like gas station prices but you’re forced to pay it. Lassonde is lit though otherwise
