My children have been coming to this location for years. Every staff member has always been friendly and really appears to care for all the kids.

This boys & girls club location allowed an employee to enroll my daughter without my knowledge or permission violating there own age/grade policy as she is not 6 or on her way to 1st grade, she's not even in k5 yet. An employee by the name of Corje Allen who is also the girlfriend of my child's father, posed as my child's sister and falsified my daughter's last name, birthdate, school/grade, relatives, and even medical insurance. No verification documents were required before the enrollment was finalized, thus, violating another policy. I followed the Parent Grievance Process as stated in the handbook to no resolve. I have now escalated this issue and all involved will be held accountable. It's a shame that I have to go through so much before an establishment will hold there employee who broke there rules accountable.

This place is great! Both my kids go before and after school, they walk them to and from school. They have so many classes and activities for the kids, they offer counseling even! I don't know where I would be without this place! And the staff is amazing and make sure the kids are well watched and let you know right away if your kids do something that you need to know about, they care enough to keep you in loop with everything. A lot of places aren't like that in my experience.

Boys and Girls Clubs say they have Zero Tolerance for bullying. Yet, my children were terrorized by 1 Bully from Day 1. Our family has had no peace since they started. They let him physically and randomly push kids, call them names, take their food, intimidate them by going to their areas where he doesn’t belong. Following them around. He roams around, unchecked, looking for trouble. It is obvious that he’s had a bad track record. If you let one kid continually terrorize others and you have witnesses and videos showing his behavior, and only give him a chat after chat, who is it a safe space for - the perpetrator who keeps ignoring you and is running the show. Now, I have to pick up the pieces for good kids who just want to be kids. My kids have to be scared and worried. It’s toxic and dangerous for kids to be terrorized like that. PLEASE DO not say it’s a safe space or you have Zero Tolerance for bullying WHICH IS EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL violence towards another. Btw - you’re reinforcing and condoning his behavior. A lot of the reviews here are old or from people whose kids went there in the past. Are you conducive to the development or the destruction of children?

Excellent summer camp program! Great staff and coaches! My 6 year old son loves it after 1 week. Awesome price, includes quality breakfast and lunch. Weekly field trips for all ages and sleep away camp for the older kids.

My son enjoyed coming here and the teacher assistant are amazing and very welcoming.
I will definitely refer this place .

I needed a place for my son to go after school. I paid a member fee of $35 and $40 for the month. Well at least that is what they told me when they took my money. When I say they I am talking about the manager and the girl behind the desk. I was told CCSD would be providing transportation but they didn't have any of that information this is 6 days before school starts. So I took it upon myself to call transportation. I am told that my son can't get on the bus without a card from Boys and Girls club. So I call the Boys and Girls club and am told I can pick up the card up on Friday. When I show up on Friday I am told their are no cards. I am also told I only paid for two weeks. Again the manager is their and a different girl behind the counter. I asked him why am I getting different information after the fact of paying and it being 2 days from the start of school. The manager goes to hand me a financial application to get a cheaper price. I tell him it's not the price but the fact that I was lied to by him and the girl behind the counter the first time. I told him the fact that he is not evening apologizing for telling me one thing and now its another is ridiculous. However he did offer me a refund so I took it. I have to wait two weeks for a check to be mailed to me when I paid with a debit card.

When I first walked into this place children are running around and out of control. their seems to be no order just a place to drop your child off. The staff is ghetto! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I believe serving youth is serving the community.

This is one of the places I am confident my kid is in good hands, based on my own experience when I was a child. The best thing about the Boys and Girls Club isn't just that they provide great recreational activities and after-school programs, but their MISSION; to Empower Our Youth, their ability to individualized the need of each child, and implement their needs through staff by edification, support & activities.

I'm a proud Mother of a Member and a soon to be Member (when he's 5yrs old), of the Lied Memorial Boys and Girls Club. Staff are awesome. They have some Great Young Leaders there and the Manager/Director, is an Amazing, A . M.  A . Z . I . N . G Mentor to the youth there; true passion (I've observed it).

I am confident that my kids will gain vastly because of this Amazing Establishment: Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada. Highly Recommended.
