My kids went there a long while back between 2014 and 2017. Tammy was one of the nicest people to work with. She is rough around the edges, but if you were ever in the military you know her personality type and I loved that about her. She's straight forward and doesn't take any BS. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for child care. She was amazing with my son who had behavioral issues. She was truly a godsend and saved my bacon when I needed her on Saturdays due to my work schedule at the time. My kids are 14 and 15 now, but I miss the days when they went to her facility. Hope she's doing well.

Best Daycare hands down! My daughter went to Little Tigers, she is now 11& my son (age 3) goes there currently. My son can’t wait to go to daycare each day& loves the teachers! Tammy, Regina& Debby have been there for years and really care about each child. I trust them whole heartedly & refer the daycare to everyone I know.

My son has been at Little Tigers Daycare since he was 2. Tammy is a bit rough around the edges and has a strong personality, but runs a tight ship with her teachers. She comes off very abrasive, but will help out any family that needs help, no questions asked. She knows what is up with every child and anytime I have a question about my son, she knows the answer and doesn’t have to check with the teachers. The kids are disciplined well to show respect, yet they are also given a lot of extras that other daycares do not offer. Tammy used her inheritance money to build the kids an in-home gym, complete with bouncy houses and air hockey tables. The outside area is also very well taken care of and is large to accommodate all the kids to run around. The security is high. Tammy, the owner personally stands guard at the front of the door and watches anyone come in and out, and each parent has their own code. She has security cameras in every room and outside the daycare and she followed my mother in law out to her car the first time she picked my son up to make sure she had a car seat. The Preschool here is amazing and my son was ready for kindergarten. The prices are reasonable, and I do not every worry about the safety of my son or what is going on with him. Anytime he gets hurt, I know about it before I walk in the door to pick him up because I’ve received a phone call prior. If my son misbehaved that day or had a rough day, I also know that before walking in. I would recommend this daycare to anyone.

Absolutely the best daycare in Boise. Amazing ratings with the BBB, and ALL of their staff treat kids kindly. It's not cooperate like a lot of the other centers, and there are smaller class sizes. Toured and this place is insanely clean- from the floors to dust everything is spotless. I cannot recommend Tammy enough.

The owners and staff are wonderful. They have better hours and prices than any other daycare in the area. I've had both my children there over the last nine years. I have tried other day cares during that time and always returned to little tigers! They have structured days ( preschool , snack, play time, lunch etc. And schedules work great with little ones)

I trust Tammy more than my own family when it comes to taking care of my kids. I was referred to Little Tigers by two different parents- past and current patrons, one of which has had her son there for five years. I did an extensive background check on the employees (I am an invasive jerk when it comes to my kid's safety) and they all came back clean. Tammy runs a tight ship and knows what is going on with each kid at all times. She doesn't mind a parent checking in randomly or dropping in unannounced. My daughter has cried because she didn't want to leave early (little traitor! ^_^ ).

Results of background check: Lack of proof of immunizations on one kid YEARS ago. Big whoop-tie-doo, whatever. I couldn't care less about that because Idaho law allows a parent to write a note saying, "Nah, I choose not to protect my child from these plagues" anyway. To me, that law is worse than not having proper records on file. I found a complaint from a disgruntled ex-employee but no records exist to support the claim. I dug REALLY deep into that accusation and it was completely unfounded.

Little Tigers accepts ICCP if you have benefits. Parents need a security code to get in the door and Tammy personally stands guard inside so that no one could piggy-back and sneak in. She built a gym for the kids to play in and has a ballet company gives optional lessons once a week.

My kids love Tammy, her staff and the other kids. I would never consider taking them anywhere else. She knows is welcome to give out my phone number to anyone that has questions that I didn't cover in this review. 🙂

I want it to be very clear that my toddlers teacher Gabby, is not equipped to handle her job. She repeatedly told my toddler in a very harsh tone to “shut your mouth” which is the exact same as “shut up”. I asked if there was a different verbiage we could use and even offered more appropriate options and there was still no willingness from her speak appropriately to a toddler.

I don’t think it’s appropriate for a 50+ year old woman to speak like that to a toddler who has only been alive for a few years and their prefrontal cortex is still developing.

This was the first time in my child’s life that they didn’t want to go to daycare. My child used to run to daycare so excited and they lost that joy going to little tigers.

My child was the most ‘accident prone’ at this facility as well. You get what you pay for.. don’t take your child here.

Tammy tells it like it is! Honestly the best daycare we have used and we plan on using them for as long as we can!
