Don’t let the size of this little neighborhood grocery store for you… They have everything you need, and more! Gluten free… No problem, they have surprise me with a fair amount of options here. The premade chicken salad is my absolute favorite!… And the jalapeño chicken burgers in the deli section are amazing! They have wonderful meat specials every day. The chicken and steak kebabs, and the stuffed pork chops are my favorite.

I have childhood memories of my parents purchasing hindquarters of beef from Veron's on Johnson St. The stuffed pork chops from there were a delicious special treat. Little Veron's moved into my parent's neighborhood after l moved away and it carries on the traditions I knew as a youth. Every neighborhood should have a little grocery like Little Veron's!

Nice neighborhood market. The butchers go out of their way to make you happy. If you haven't had their stuffed pork chops (SPC's), you're missing out on the best in the world....literally. There's a reason they've been shipped all over the world.

I am so happy that I can get Little Veron's incredible meat and seafood department because believe me...Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas just think think they know meat! They don't know what a 7 steak is. I had to bring one for them to see. They are now selling them & over 50K people who buy food have to UPS our clothes so we can each bring home 70lbs. of seafood, boudin, venison and thanks to Amazon I have My Jack Miller BBQ sauce & seasonings. By the way on a funny note, my mother Lillie Dronet hit her gas pedal instead of her brakes & now they have a new window in the front. She told the original owner, PaPa Veron she was making him a drive thru email address is: [email protected] & address for special flyers. Home sick & gone for 30 years & it feels like 60. GEAUX LA teams! My love to all. I hope some of the people in the meat department are still there when I am in Lafayette this holiday season depending on the weather. We are supposed to have a a pretty big sneaux (snow) this winter! I'll be calling you to overnight my turduckin for Thanksgiving. I have my own UPS or FedEx#. Sorry it's so long. It'ts like finding out that there is a real Easter Bunny! LOL. Thank you, Donna Dronet-Radkin My father was Don Dronet. He & my mother have both passed away, but there was always Veron's for Donna. Do not touch! They lived off of Camellia Blvd in a beautiful neighborhood.
