Such a cute library! Good sized children's area and bookstore .They have monthly seasonal events as well as weekly homework, storytime and chess club just to name a few. So much to do in addition to the books!

Lodi Public Library is a clean and organized library.

The moment I approached the desk I was asked if I had questions. Professional and courteous.

There is security personnel at the library.

Plenty of computers with internet access-if you don’t have one or if you left it at home.

Every section is clearly labeled to aid in your search for whatever is your interest.

There are comfortable upholstered chairs with appropriate style tables so you can research, read, or work in comfort.

Also available are tables with chairs for more conventional work or reading space.

Classes are conducted in a windowed, but apparently sound proofed room as I could not here anything from the room. It was a computer class offered.

All in all, the Lodi Public Library is a great benefit to the area. That’s my opinion and I’ll certainly visit again.

I’m so sick of this place always being closed. How are you a PUBLIC library but you aren’t open on a regular basis? I’m here on a day they say they are open and it’s still closed. Do better for the public!!!!!

I understand when you want to share an experience with your kids, but having them running around screaming and out of control is unbelievable. People go to study and enjoy the quietness, which is hardly achieved. I’ve gave it multiple tries, and it’s the same every time. Staff are very rude and stare you down as your walking in, as if you were to commit a crime.

First time coming here for some quiet & relaxing study time,...but that didn't last very long. No sooner than I found my perfect studying area, my concentration & focus was gone! Someone(librarian staff) was showing another person books & areas where they would locate more books all at LOUD Talking level . Laughing & carrying on like they were anywhere else but in a library!! Jeeze! No sooner than that died down, something else perked my ears! Faint at first, then when I looked up from what I was studying, out the window facing east on Church Street, a homeless woman was cursing away loudly at the window! Wait a minute, she wasn't cursing at the window, she was cursing at me THROUGH the window! All sorts of foul filth & rubbish spewing from this lady's mouth gesturing & directed at me! Wth?!? After 5 minutes of that I just put my head down to study again with two birds above my forehead, if you know what I mean. A few minutes later she was gone. Crossing the street, not in the cross walk, while cars whizzed by honking for her to get out of the way. A few moments later the security guy walks by. Where was this fool 5 minutes ago?!? Dang! If all that wasn't enough, now the little kiddies are playing, yelling & screaming in the library! Really?!? Clear across the f'ing library!!! What happened to our quiet voices?!? Needless to say, I left! What a shame! Seemed like a real nice little library too!

It's a somewhat quiet place to read and go on the computers. The librarians are helpful and very nice. It's the loud screaming kids that run around and the parents that let then touch the computers and not telling them to stop that bothers me. It's a library and these kids need to learn it's suppose to be quiet in there so others can do their reading and work on the computers. It's hard to concentrate.

Library has come a long way since the late 90s and early 2000s. Lots of improvements and renovations. The homeless using the library as a daytime shelter from the heat and rain is a bit of an issue and although they hired a security guard, he seems to be very intrusive by following me from outside to inside then attempting to check my books out while having an attitude that he runs the place! It was creepy. Thankfully a clerk arrived to assist in showing him how to check people out. This incident was over a year ago but I refuse to return with the kids.
