If you have a child with you and you need to get dental work...don't bring them here you'll waste your time.
I've been to 3 dentist office in 4 years and I'm always asked if my son will be with me. I understand there's sometimes kids who don't behave but don't assume my child is one of them. And when I tell you my kid is a calm kid then you need trust and see how it goes afterwards.

I get to the front desk and First Lady asks if I have someone to watch him. Which is a common question and I assure her that he's a calm kid and he'll be fine and she says okay. My son wasn't making any noise, wasn't running around. And no, I don't have someone to watch him because mother works and I work in the afternoon. It's the only time I can take care of my needs.

Then I have nurse come by to tell me we need to do X-rays and if I have someone to watch him. Again I say no I don't but he can stay off to the side while I'm doing the X-rays. I get it, it's radiation. Me and him have done this before he knows what to do. She tells me to hold on while she asks and proceeds to take 10 minutes doing whatever it was she was doing (does it take that long to ask a question?) and approaches me and just says okay I'm ready for you.

Well I assumed we were good and I tell my son who is calmly sitting down watching a movie on my phone to walk with me. As we're walking some other lady receptionist gets up (mind you she's in the back and not sure what her Tuesday was like but girl sit down) and tells me oh he can't go back there...

I'm taken a back trying to figure out what the hell is going on and what's the big issues I thought this was sorted out. I start arguing with them we already went over this and she says because we don't want him running around and I'm telling you're assuming he's like that, look at him..he's doing nothing but standing next to me. So I have him, a 3 YEAR OLD... sit down by himself in the waiting area meanwhile I thought I was just gonna do the X-rays and then I could bring him back there.

Nope. We go to a room where they have two chairs and I said oh are we doing the x rays here and the mute nurse says yes and then cleaning and I said okay well can I bring him after the X-rays and she says no we can't. So basically I was gonna leave him out there by himself the whole time.

I asked what's the big deal, why can't I just have him sit there...of course another nurse intercedes and starts telling me AGAIN..well we don't want him running around...

Guys! Communicate...hell man...I've been through this at other offices. They accommodate. Okay. Not every kid is the same. Don't assume. Me and him have done this before. He knows to just sit and chill.

And "Business owner" don't tell me to call relations just so you guys don't get real feedback here for everyone else to see knowing relations isn't gonna do crap about these ladies attitudes.

My wife is an employee at Loma Linda University and I did not choose to go here.

Business owner, the front office has my number if you'd like to contact me. They know who I am. They won't forget this interaction and neither will I.

Theo is amazing, he cares about each patient! I felt comfortable with him and he did an excellent job. Always worked with my schedule and kept me up to date. Theo also explained what was going to happen at each appointment and made sure that my needs were met!! I’m walked out very happy!!

The 2 stars is to catch attention, I heard this is a subpar dental institute, for their Endodontist debt, unfortunately they've just advised me over the phone they aren't taking ANY new patients and did not elaborate beyond that. Just fyi if you need root canal care.

Don’t recommend. We got the ring around for several months with this place. My daughter has a neurological disease but it doesn’t affect her under anesthesia or any dental work. Needing clearance with a few doctors at Loma linda and to have her seen which we did. Just to be told we don’t have clearance and need to fax it to them. Which I ended up doing a few times, would get told we had clearance, then I could be told again we never had it in the first place. I can’t say how the doctors work here because we never actually got seen. But the front desk people all need to find new jobs cause nobody knows what they are doing. Had to transfer back to San Diego with our old dentist and got her seen within the week and her work done without anesthesia like I had originally asked for. But nobody here would even consider that request.

Just wanted to share my experience with the Loma Linda school of dentistry and their special care department. I have been searching for a Dentist for my son for the last 10 days. There was an incident where he fell forward after having an atonic seizure and he busted his front tooth out. he needs a dentist that would be able to administer sedative or anesthetic in order to get an exam abd x-rays. I shared with Loma Linda school of dentistry on the phone as to why we were coming in that it he had a seizure, fell forward, hit his face and busted out his front tooth. I made an appointment drove there. Filled out the paperwork went back for the consultation and within 2 minutes a Doctor is telling me he cannot be seen there because he has a history of epilepsy. That should be something that's screened for on the phone when the appointments first made. Apparently the customer service does not listen to the patients or the patient's parents when they call in. I know I shared that he had a head a seizure and that's how we got hurt. They could have said then and there. We don't see patients with epilepsy. Very disappointed in the Loma. Linda school dentistry and their special care department, especially because they're attached to the Loma Linda hospital, which has a really good neuro department for adults and children. very disappointed that they refused care to my son who desperately needs it.

This is a school and the dentists that do the work are supervised by experienced dentists but the students are practicing and the school likes to charge full price for all of the dental work and cannot accept dental insurance. They quoted 8000.00 for an implant. I've already spent 3000.00 + here and they aren't finished yet. Then a student told me they charge him 400.00 a day for the time to work on patients. It's a college that has based everything on religion, but I'm pretty sure Jesus wouldn't want them to be that greedy. I'm not coming back here after the work is done and I don't recommend it to anyone else.
