They have immigration lawyers and are just scheduling endless free consultations for years to accumulate hours for government points (to show some activities to their funders), ostensibly justifying the existence of the non-profit organization. I've had several consultations with no results – a waste of time, and I waited for months to get in touch with them. They don't want to help you if you are not a Mexican. They follow the demographics agenda align with Chicano La Raza ideology and help only their people. If you're seeking an honest non-profit, consider African Coalition instead, they help everyone and ethnicity doesn't matter.

LLS is like a small sanctuary near DTLA. The campus is clean and quiet and they have a nice large library that is usuallly dead quiet for studying.
