This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to study English at LSI for three months, and I can confidently say it was the best vacation I’ve ever had. Before starting at LSI, my English skills were almost nonexistent—I struggled with vocabulary, and I couldn’t speak or understand English at all. Now, thanks to the exceptional guidance and support I received, I can speak and understand English well.

LSI Director Jennifer deserves immense credit for this transformation. She is the best manager I’ve ever encountered, and the school office runs with remarkable efficiency under her leadership. Jennifer has created an environment that is both welcoming and conducive to learning. Her ability to solve even the most challenging problems with ease is truly impressive. Her decision to pair me with Diana as my teacher was a stroke of genius.

Diana, despite her young age, is without a doubt the best teacher I’ve ever had. She carefully crafted a personalized training program for me, adapting it as I progressed to ensure I was always challenged yet never overwhelmed. Diana’s patience knows no bounds—she would explain concepts in ways that were easy to grasp, using countless examples until I fully understood. She also took the time to ensure I was comfortable in every session, which made learning all the more enjoyable.

Diana’s professionalism is matched only by her kindness and empathy. She has a warm and approachable demeanor that made me feel at ease from day one. Her deep knowledge of the English language, combined with her ability to connect with her students on a personal level, sets her apart as an exceptional educator.

I am deeply grateful to both Jennifer and Diana for their roles in my English education. Their dedication and passion have left a lasting impact on me, and I will always look back on my time at LSI with great fondness and appreciation.

I took afternoon Business classes with Cory and Grammar classes with Chris. I enjoyed very much the classes, they are very good teachers, attentive with the students, funny and very experienced. I had more expectation about the extra classes activities organized by the LSI and in the begging was hard to try to make friends because of that. I also had problems with the accommodation recommended by the LSI. I stayed at the YMCA in the beggining and had to cancel it because they didn´t had kitchen facilities of fridge. I don´t recommend anyone to stay there more than 1 week, is terrible.

I’m so grateful that I found your school and had a chance to study there. The amosphere at school is amazing, good location and facilities, well equipped classrooms, super cool students from all over the world, fun activities after lessons, lovely director with a cute dog and of course, a very good teacher - Peter. I decided to come back to LSI after my first experience here. As an international student learning English prepare for my master studies, I feel very fortunate when finding LSI. First, the teachers are excellent! My first teacher was Christopher. She had a unique way to make 4-hour classes become very interesting and enjoyable. Lucy, my second teacher, had special way to teach grammar. Once she went through any grammar rule, I thought I would never forget. Second, LSI has a good way to collect great students who come from many countries but are very friendly and kind to each other. Maybe we all enjoyed the classes so all of awkward moment on the first day passed by quickly. I had experienced with some English schools in NYC, I think LSI is one of some schools that I can trust. LSI’s director, Kerry, and her staff are very enthusiastic and professional. They helped me complete the registration process and obtain my F1 visa so quick that I was surprised and happy. They made all worries of a student who travel alone to study in the US go away. Thanks Kerry, Victoria, Andrew and all of my teachers in LSI New York.

On March 2022 as part of my sabbatical year, I studied English for few months at LSI College in Manhattan, New York. It's my 2nd time there, after a very good experience 7 years ago.
It's impossible to describe the experiences and pleasures that come meeting students from all over the world and from the studies themselves.
My English improved, I gained more confidence in the language.
LSI has an excellent teaching staff, a special personal approach to everything, with Miss Jennifer Robin the principal of the college, taking care of everything.
The location of the college is very convenient; Between 10-15 mn walking to the many sites around, including museums and special parks.
I strongly recommend this so special college, with its amazing people and unforgettable experiences!

I've studied at LSI for 5 months and it was great! Both teachers I've had were incredibly friendly, always there for us and trying to get the best of us and incentive us in order to develop our skills. The staff is also very nice and helpful!
I can only thank LSI for all the english skills I've improved, all the people and friends that I've met and that I'll probably have for live, and for such great memories of this amazing city NYC is <3 <3 <3
