Horrible location five miles away from town. No opportunities. Few clubs to join. The food the cafe sells isn’t that good and overpriced. The food at the pantry is expired. This community college has some of the lowest transfer rates in the state. I would recommend Fresno city or Clovis community college over madera any day.

I am doing my study in Madera community college I like it so much the staff is so helpful and teachers are so nice and helpful and learning center is so helpful they help you in homework assignments very great college to start your career.

Its funny how lots of the reviews are from employees at the college trying to seem like its a great place, reviews should be by students who take classes and deal with these employees, not by teachers pushing students into their programs.

The other people making comments clearly don’t know it’s just like Elementary. We are taught certain things because other people with no power at all, acquired some in order to make that happen. I don’t care about the gender dilemma and I always hated science, math was my strong suit. Just like a lucid dream you can pick what you want to do, not many options but that just makes you have more experience in different areas before you end where you wish, also 1v1 me at pool while I haven’t even warmed up. I dare ya. ->-

Diversity doesn’t mean diversity of opinion. Equity means we take opportunity from “those who have had plenty of opportunities historically” and give it to “historically oppressed people groups”, which necessarily demotes competence and necessarily entails collectivist thinking, placing politicized group interests over interests of actual individual students with individual needs and interests. Inclusion doesn’t mean inclusion of your opinions if you think similarly to me. Oh, no. You can’t get an education here. But you can pay money to be turned into a non-thinking, conformist collectivist. Oh, and there are only two genders. Obviously.

Went to the library to look for a book. Was greeted and helped quickly. Was able to reserve the book I needed for 2 hours and helped with the scanner. So I can save money! The man that assisted me was sweet and helpful. Appreciate the great service and step by step for what I needed.
