Today I went in for copies, They charge 61 cents for copies I believe and I needed 10 copies I couldn't get my copies because they don't take any kind of card payment just cash yet no where in the library or even online dose it states they don't take credit or debit card payments when I asked to see where it States that they don't take card payments they were looking through their paperwork and through binders of paperwork and they couldn't provide me any proof of such statement there was no sign posted around the library either.

It's been years since I was last inside. It's renovation is really nice. It's not dark like before. I really like it.
I haven't been there in a year.
But this is ridiculous!! No AC!! WTH MADERA COUNTY CAN'T YOU FIX IT BETTER YET JUST GET A NEW ONE? JESUS CHRIST. PEOPLE WHO WANT TO USE THE LIBRARY FOR WHATEVER REASON CAN'T USE IT FOR VERY LONG! FEELS LIKE A FREAKING SAUNA!! CLOSING EARLY? BECAUSE YOU CAN'T GET A NEW AC? JEEZ!

I want to say I love this pace. I come here regularly and it's a great atmosphere. The librarians and other staff members are very nice, polite, and engaging. They are always busy, yet always willing to help and even hold conversations with you. Great layout and organization of books and dvd's. They have a nice setup of public computers for everyone with a library card to use. I love how it's always so clean and well maintained with nice flora decorating the areas. Great place to find what you are looking to read and a wonderful place to relax and be at peace.

I enjoy the new books section which has a well-chosen selection for many interests. I am always amazed at how fast I am able to get currently- reviewed books as holds! The staff does so much to keep so many services available to us!

I visited the library today and I've never seen noone inside. Well of course the library workers. But that was it. And me, my daughter, and granddaughter. It was a eerie feeling. And all due to covid. All their services were available but everyone is being cautious, I guess. We went in and did our business and left. Normally I would have browsed thru the for sale books. Wasn't feeling it. Well hopefully we will be back to enjoying our friendly library and reading again to our kids.

It's a good sized library, there's always plenty of room to find a spot to sit down. There's also free wifi. Which is what I go for or to print stuff out. Ive seen nicer library's which is why I would give it 4 stars but I also took off another star cus parking is terrible. There is never any room to park.

Staff is rude, many of the books ive looked for have to be ordered n they are not old ones even. I donated about 30 R.L.Stine books, they only accepted half for the shelves. Yet i see childrens boos wirh scribbles all through it. Hours are so short that if school kids need to do a report they r out of luck. Just called n recording says business hes ate 8 to 5 monday through friday. So the answering machine meeds updated as well
