Just a fun place. Feels really community
Clean safe park with a running stream behind it. Great lawn space for playing soccer or catch. Swims for the littles and sandbox for that sensory play. Clean restrooms and oh, and the pool!

Great place to unwind in the middle of the work day if you can. I’ve tried a few pools in the area, including those that are part of a club-this one is salt water and some chlorine but not oppressive. If you’re not a Marinwood resident it’s about $10 a dip-worth it for me if I just want to come once a week. There’s an outdoor shower that’s warm enough.

We did not enter the center but we spent time in the park. It was quite beautiful and well maintained. It was a pleasant respite while we waited for our son to finish a medical appointment he had.

Great community swimming pool with a grass hill to lay your blanket out to relax while kids enjoy the pool.
The slide with 2 different chutes are open most of summer days until closing time.
The pool is well observed by a several life guards and they do not close the pool entirely for guard changes. But has seen a practice run of rescuing a drowning swimmer without notifying any guards in 2018 which was a great to witness despite all swimmers had to exit the pool for 10-min.

The local CSD has great programs throughout the year for children and adults. The summer camp program is one of the best around. For adults there are local art shows, wine tastings, brew fest. It seems almost every week someone has rented the building for an event. I haven't even touched upon the classes that are taught for children and adults in the community center. On top of this there is also a pool you can join, a swim team, a large park of green grass and fenced in playground. No to mention the music in the park series on alternative Friday nights in the summer time. It's a friendly, community wide gathering place with something for everyone.

The pool area is nice with grass, picnic tables and some shade, but what I didn’t like was the fact that they held lessons during recreational swim time so that people couldn’t swim laps while the lessons were in session, which was for most of the time that they were open. Also, there aren’t any showers in the bathroom so I would definitely not recommend coming here for swimming, despite the two small waterslides.
