I'm not sure why my review keeps getting deleted, but Mike Smith's Aviation is truly the best. They can take you from zero flight hours to commercial pilot in no time. Don't settle for anything less than the best!

Aviation Ground school at Mike Smith Aviation has been a great experience for me. Kimberly and her staff are very welcoming, encouraging and professional. Small groups of 10-14 students allows for individualized attention along with group participation to help each understand the concepts of the FAA Airmen Knowledge Test Prep.If a student is unsure of how to do something, Kimberly and her staff will walk the students through the correct step-by-step procedure individually until they have a understanding of the lessons ,even if it’s not the days ground school classes are not being held they are willing to assist you in time of needing extra help understanding the Airmen Knowledge Test materials.They provide the most updated
FAA materials and tools to help you prepare and pass the written exam.This is an excellent place to learn all you need.Today I took the Airmen Knowledge test I passed with a score of 93%. Mike and Kimberly and the entire staff of Mike Smith Aviation I am so grateful for taking your ground school course also Kimberly and the entire staff for being a big encouragement in my aviation journey .Sincerely Michael Wilkes.

A plurality of my initial aviation experience between multiple flight schools was met by setback upon setback by dishonest instructors out only to further their self interests without any care or concern for the inexperienced and rightfully nervous new student sitting next to them.

This is not your typical flight school. I spent a year getting certificates and ratings through Smith Aviation in order to further my career in aviation. I successfully earned my private pilot, instrument, commercial, and CFI (flight instructor) ratings/certificates through them. They had me prepared enough each step of the way to pass each of my checkrides the first time.

It's really common in the flight school world for people to start flight training but hit some kind of a wall that they can't get pass and they stop training. People here are watched over and supported quite a bit and as a result, they don't have this problem. Additionally, they have a very high pass rate. Lastly, they coordinate and work with DPEs (outside pilot examiner) to ensure people are able to get checkrides (think of it as a final exam before a certificate or rating is issued). People at other schools have told me they have to schedule their checkrides 3-6 months in advance.

Mike, Kim and their excellent staff of CFI’s helped me to wrap up my Commercial Pilot training and fully prepare me for my checkride. Mr Smith has an encyclopedic amount of aeronautical knowledge and can answer nearly any question on-the-spot. Their aircraft are perfect for every step of your training, although I’m uncertain if they have a tailwheel aircraft for that particular endorsement. I intend to use Mike Smith Aviation again for my multi-engine training.

This is an excellent flight School. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They'll work with your preferred schedule whether you want to fly daily or occasionally like I do. The flight instructors are knowledgeable and easy to work with. My main flight instructor is Ben and he is enthusiastic about both flying and teaching.

Compared to other flight schools I’ve checked out in the area the value is unmatched. Safety and efficiency in training is top priority, every time I leave the airport I feel totally enriched with the experiences and interactions I get to have at the flight school.

Very professional, but also extremely inviting environment that facilitates actual learning and I really believe is as much invested in their students training as the students, if not more.
